I'm also so tired of seeing people that don't even have dark circles and they colour correct with a bright ass red lipstick 🧐 like... you're joking right?
Especially if they're super light complected.
It actually ticked me off more than it should have, like I know she’s making content but atleast grab a friend or family member who actually has dark circles.
Also, that lipstick and its formula are not meant to be on the under eye. That's how you mess up your skin. Young people and their flawless undereye 🙄 🖤😅
I am 21 and I got dark circles, i just have them since I am born tbh I dont care, I got them and it is how it is 😂
And when they have pretty much flawless skin (not that you shouldn’t wear makeup if you have flawless skin) and use a lipstick...that’s red...for no reason like where are these circles that are dark

The “glitter hack” is literally HORRID. It’s just irresponsible for any influencer to tell people using gorilla tape as makeup removal...that’s so bad for your skin! Especially because your eyes are such a sensitive area :/

Ikr, like oh my god just use some olive oil or coconut oil, they're good for the skin and not harmful.
@@moonlight-im8ik coconut oil will clog pores like nothing else... for a lot of people. I guess it's probably fine if you just use it on your eyes tho. Olive oil is gr8

Just makeup remover or makeup wipes dry out my eyes and irritate them and I don't even have sensitive skin! This made me cringe!

That’s so perfectly said. He and his brother have it. I feel as if their parents were great about teaching them to choose their words carefully. One can be critical without being rude. I’ve noticed the comments section in Robert and James’ videos are really polite. ♥️

I’m an artist, not a makeup artist, but a painter. I cringed when I saw those brushes go in the washer. You are absolutely right. Good brushes are usually an investment and taking care of them means being careful not to get moisture up inside the ferrule. It shortens the life of your brushes immensely as well as not functioning as intended. Also with makeup, the bacteria! It may be tempting to take a shortcut but always treat your tools with care so they last and perform well.
Scars don’t need to be covered....AMEN!!! 🥰 i used to ask photographers not to photoshop my scars because I felt like it wasn’t ‘’me’’ anymore when they did

I have a scar on my forearm from surgery years ago. I used to be so self conscious and always try to cover it as much as I could with makeup. Now I don’t even think about it

Eh, yes she had nothing to color correct, but undertones matter for what color you need to color correct with _if_ you have something to color correct. If I have really bad under-eye circles from not sleeping much one night, I need to color correct with yellow, or even green. Red is just going to make it far worse for me.

I don't understand how people can think, that you don't know anything about makeup just because of your scar. Personally I have a little scar on my eyebrow and I really appreciate it, that you're showing your scar and aren't trying to hide it. Like most people do.
Absolutely, I have a scar on the top of the bridge of my nose. I'm also a makeup artist and I get comments a lot about getting it fixed. WHY should I. It's a part of me and my history and I don't need to hide it to be beautiful!
People saying he doesn't know anything about makeup just because he has a scar are the type of people who would say a person doesn't know how to smile just because they're sad. It's not that they can't, they just don't want to, or feel the need to. It's a choice. People just wanna get mad at him for whatever reason, maybe because they follow these silly Instagram/Tik Tok/TH-cam trends and get offended by his constructive criticism 👁👄👁 It's just best to let the cakes walk until karma bites them right in the frosting.

Little Miss Frostbite bruh I get complimented on “being able to do my makeup well” but also get told I can’t do it well enough because I never cover beauty spots on my neck and when I was in high school I’d get that backhanded compliment so often that I’d literally pick out the mark from under my skin until it bled makeup is makeup and people should let people LIVE 😭

Honestly Robert has helped me so much. I now feel confident and comfortable leaving the house with a small amount of concealer instead of full face Instagram foundation and contour. He's really helped me embrace natural makeup and how product should help enhance natural beauty instead of being a mask ❤️

OMG YEAH! It will 100% damage your brushes faster, sure they’re ‘clean’ but will fall apart so much easier, doesn’t matter if it’s $2 or $200. Even if you don’t care about the bacteria you’re introducing, it will weaken the glue!!
That broke my heart!!! I have a favourite brush who got water damage, and the head is now wobbly:((. Imagine putting them in the washing machine!! Also, I had my brushes for 6 years, and only because I am careful with them.
also i wouldn't dare put them near my face after washing them with tide pods or any detergent for that matter. that cannot be good for your skin.

1st TikTok: I don't see the difference between the "before and after" of the red circles.
I've been painting all my life and I would never immerse the entire brush in water. The paint/lacquer on the handle would probably get water damage and break apart.
I actually saw a review of a brush set that said the brushes were bad, because they broke on first washing - apparently that person thought the handle was solid plastic and I can only imagine they washed the entire brush and not just the bristles.
so basically my mam puts bronzer all over her face and when robert was saying where to place it she looked at my phone and i looked at her and said “NOT all over your face mam” and she looked like she was gonna cry🤣

PERFECT. Or maybe one of those „doing my makeup only using glitter“ challenges gone wrong? Like you’re done with doing your glorious glitter makeup and you either breathe a bunch of glitter in and suffocate or the glitter applied to your face/body melts your skin because it’s actually toxic and because the glitter can’t be removed from the skin as it’s completely mixed together you essentially die of glitter poisoning. Hope this makes at least some kind of sense 😅

Autumn is my absolute favorite season, even though I now reside in Florida.
I live in a place where in Autumn you don't see the orange leaves, the trees doesn't change at all. In winter, you don't see snow (too hot here!)

Every pro MUA has a phobia of glitter, glitter absolutely sucks
It somehow ends up EVERYWHERE! I’ve had clothes that weren’t in the vicinity of the glitter be covered in glitter a week after using said glitter! 🤦🏼♀️

Another reason to NOT put your brushes in the washing machine: unless you regularly clean your washing machine (yes, technically you should clean it), it's going to be full of microscopic fecal matter and bacteria. In other words, poop. You're going to contaminate your brushes that you put on your face. Especially because she says you should wash them in cold water and you obviously shouldn't put them in the dryer, cold water/lack of heat is not going to kill bacteria. Also, mildew. It's just gross. Please don't do that, lol.

When I saw the makeup brushes and washing machine situation I nearly got a stroke. 😳😅😂 My makeup brushed aren't highest quality or fancy but they work and they are brushes! I intend to keep them for a long time. I don't even do that to my watercolouring brushes like damn.
