PLEASE SHARE WITH US?? What is YOUR favourite Malaysian food??
Definitely the all delicious Hokkien Mee eaten with the special chilli paste!😋😋😋
It just about 1-2 % food/cuisines in Malaysia... 😊
Rendang of coz, especially Hari Raya (eidul) is near, Rendang n Lemang
Roti canai in all it's forms
Chef tour is one of the best tour guide in KL, really shows you the local food culture
We agree! Amazing time and immersion
Your guide is good. Thumbs up.
Ah he was amazing! He was so clued up! Amazing knowledge
2022 - world no 1 street food
2023 - world no 2 street food
Roti canai
Well earned! It's delicious 😋
To be frank, your food guide just covered mostly on our local Malay and Indian cuisines. You also need to experience and try our local Chinese cuisines too, the likes of Char Kueh Teow (Fry flat rice noodles), Claypot chicken rice and Hokkien fry noodles are the few more popular ones. Go try them out at the Petaling Street or Jalan Alor area. 😂👌
Thanks for the tip Nick
@@MaxandJacqueline yes the Chinese food in Malaysia is unique in that they were mostly created in Malaysia and you won't be able to find them in China.
Food tour guide are always biased towards their own personal preference/tastebud. And theres also the deals made between the guide and the places they included in the tour. Nothing wrong with that. Its just something that is to be expected when you go on these food tours.
Thanks for sharing this wonderful video n for showing your food tour n explorations in KL
Thanks for watching Yasin! Much love 🧡
@@MaxandJacqueline Thank u too. 😃
@@MaxandJacqueline Hope that u guys had enjoyed all d food from d tour, u guys had tasted some of d most delicious comfort street food in Malaysia. It's a bit too much to have everything in just one day, but I guess u guys have d general idea of what d Malaysian food is all about. Many of d food here in this video is from d Malay Malaysian culture, perhaps next time, u guys can try d food from d Malaysian Chinese n Indian culture, d Nyonya culture (a fusion between d local Malay n Chinese), d food culture from d Borneo side of Malaysia in Sabah n Sarawak. Really glad that u guys made this video. Excellent vlog. 😃
Ah Yasin that means a lot! 🙏🤩 thank you for your time. And for the people of Malaysia 🇲🇾 ❤️

@Max and Jacqueline the late Anthony bourdain called sarawak laksa the breakfast of gods
@@MaxandJacqueline nyonya laksa best eaten in melaka.

Oh yeah satay !!!!
One of the best satay!! So juicy and that sauce 😋 😍
@Max and Jacqueline personally I would buy only satay kajang haji samuri. The best of the best.
Well noted. We will remember that for next time
2 days is not enough days to cover Kuala Lumpur or Malaysia. There's way more beauty, culture, religion and history in Malaysia than any other country in this region.
Absolutely, we spent almost a month in Malaysia all together but just a few days exploring Kuala Lumpur, in tonight’s video we head to Melaka!
Hehehe I like watching your face after eating the durian pod.
Haha its definitely something we won't forget anytime soon 😉 😅
@Max and Jacqueline just for your info. Malaysian durian is the best on earth. At least you tried.
@@MaxandJacqueline
I thought Max liked it. haha
Satey, rendang

@@MaxandJacqueline I'll hope you will stay in Malaysia until hari raya Aidilfitri day..
Look good🤤
One of our favourite food tours so far! We've done a few 😆
nice guys
Thanks Madie 🧡
Durian.. Not a fruit.. A cream puff filing.. Sweet and puffy mouth delight.. Mix your mind set 😅😅
Hahaha hard with that smell 😵
Nasi lemak wanjo
You seem to know your food too. We should do a tour with you next time 😅🤣
@Max and Jacqueline I am just a regular bloke. I am 55 years old. I hv eaten my fair share.
@Max and Jacqueline other places quite famous for nasi lemak are:
1. Village park, Bandar utama. This is not in kl but selangor state
2. Nasi lemak tanglin, not far from kl botanic Gardens.
But Wanjo nasi lemak don't have Peanuts, one of the main condiment in nasi lemak....
@@MaxandJacqueline Nasi Lemak Wanjo is good because its not just nasi lemak but also a lot of side dish which are popular Malay cuisines like rendang, sambal kerang, sambal sotong etc
Salak- snake fruit😅
It was really yummy. Do you like it??
Yeah but very hard to find in my area
Ramly burger?
Yes it's a local burger! Delicious 😋
@Max and Jacqueline he was a butcher once. Rags to riches story of a humble patty maker.
@@keangwooichoo6138 you r everywhere dude... Hehehe...
@Heri Hazril Othman lol even in Brazil, Mexico, Philippines, Tokyo Japan I am there.
@@keangwooichoo6138cool.. u r one of a kind bro hehe
Apam balik is from China, if I am not mistaken
Ah I am not 100% sure. There could be a few different versions 🤔
@Max and Jacqueline just in case you visit indonesia, they will tell you their springroll lumpia, and bakso noodles are theirs, it is Not true. It is from China. Springroll in Malaysia is called popiah. It is a Chinese food. Bakso is from fujian province China. Do not be misled when doing food tours in different countries. Research is required. Otherwise, misinformation occurs.
@@MaxandJacqueline it is still apam balik doesn't matter thin or thick
Haha sniff fermented durian tht close for first time is not recommend 😅
I can wholeheartedly agree with you there 😅
Nasi kerabu
😍
@@MaxandJacqueline from kelantan state. Butterfly pea rice.
A nice video. Will be nicer if you wear at least short sleeve 😊
Noted! And thanks for the feedback 😊
What do you mean? It's up to her what she wants to wear. Who are you to police her? Malaysia is a country where we can wear anything we want unlike some backward countries so quit telling others what to do.
@@MaxandJacqueline you can wear sleeveless or even tube tops. No one here can legally police others on what to wear. Ignore these weird people and their comments.
@@bonhamcarter4488 You are wrong sir, many premises like government departments, some parks, and some other places will prohibit people entering if the dress is not proper.
@@CHEA1111 please get an education. These people are tourists, so which government department would they want to go to? They are only visiting tourist sites and malls and restaurants. There are absolutely no dress code restrictions for these places. Which park you need to have dress code? In fact, many Malaysians dress just like this with sleeveless. Nothing wrong with that. Stop policing what other people wear.
