- In this video, I'll be going to the Pasar Malam Jalan TAR Saturday Night Market in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia! We will be interacting with local Malaysians, trying delicious food, and seeing everything that this market has to offer.
As a Palestinian traveler, I like to see how countries are towards Palestinians and this night market shocked me. Malaysians are truly some of the nicest and caring people that I have ever met in all my travels.
This market also has some incredible local food ranging from laksa to lekor to satay.

On January this year I done my umrah, while in Masjidil Haram, this one old lovely lady want to sit beside me because she saw my prayer gown with Malaysia written in Arabic. She told me in Arabic that she is from Palestine. I was overwhelmed and hug her crying. I don’t know why. I don’t speak Arabic and she show hand sign “Palestine love Malaysia”. I wish I can see that lady again one day. Ya Allah, please protect her

The fact that we Malaysians can talk more than 2 languages are insane, I think, English for us is not strange anymore, we can speak, we can understand, I respect for those sellers who can speak Arabic and English better nowadays.
Yet, our English level is also very good even as a second spoken majority language.

I love laksa too. I lived in Malaysia for 8 years, and I found it to be the healthiest wholesome food ever.
The noodles are made of rice flour (carbo), the broth is fish and shrimp paste (protein) and topped with fresh raw vegetables, and no trans fat!😅
