I Am a former Mexicana Click captain. I flew that beautiful plane , I also flew over 8000 hours on the D-C9 . Both are very similar however those engines on the 717 😵😵😵😵 AMAZING. Now I fly an Airbus 320 excellent plane, but my heart will always belong to the B717😪😪😪
Delta now has Boeing 717's
It is because the boeing 717 is really a McDonnell Douglas MD-95, but Boeing bought McDonnell Douglas when the airplane was under construction.

Nice video! I feel the 717 is one of the more under rated/unknown airliners out there. The new new Delta interiors are comfortable and quiet. Hope these are around for quite some time.

awesome sleek looking plane. i love it..too bad no one had a custom private 717 jet.
indeed it was a former Midwest B717, flown by Mexicana Click until they were out of business, i don't remember the tail number but that aircraft must be in the desert.
I'm so proud that this is finally in P3D with the TFDi 717 release. It is the only aircraft that I love as much as the 737.
signman Bob but.. we have no QRH, FCOM, FCTM... no where. It's complicated. I don't know if there is any De Icing proc... :/

@RonRicoCapitan Algunos aviones vienen con esa funda en los asientos, la gran mayoria vienen con otro tipo de funda. No te sabria decir la verdad del porqué, pero realmente no es caluroso.

There were 20 Boeing 717 aircraft flying with Mexicana Click, 17 have gone on to other operators, 3 are in storage ( theres a good chance Delta picks them up when they receive

Last summer I flew with a boeing 717 VOLOTEA, a spanish private airline, that has some 717 from Mexicana Click.

my brother taped the video, he was first officer of Mexicana Click until the end, luckily he is now flying the B737-700 on another airline, in his opinion the B717 cockpit was technologically more advanced that the 737.
