  • In this video I describe a clinical case of a patient with frozen shoulder.
    This 57yo woman suffered with shoulder pain and limited range of motion in her right arm for years, and fortunately I was able to help her using a combination of acupuncture technique, namely, Master Tung Acupunture, Yamamoto New Scalp Acupuncture and Bleeding.

    Thank you very much for sharing dr,
    I have a question, we often decide to use the three-point section first, then, if not really effective, we continue the vein bleeding section, why don't we pay more attention to the diagnosis to define whether the cause is related to the Qi or the blood problem at first?

    Thank you so much for sharing this case. I've used Fan Hou Jue in the past, but I see that adding two needles to it will increase its effectiveness. And I've never tried the YNSA shoulder extra point. Is that the same as ST 6 in TCM?

    • @sergioferreiramtc
      @sergioferreiramtc  2 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Yes it's in the area of st6 but i generally look for tenderness in the area and needle where i find tenderness

    Great case study video. Was the YNSA point same or opposite side?

    Thank you for sharing your experience. I have a patient with FS who experiences no pain but very restricted movements-flexion less than 10° and abduction similar. Have you had this kind of patients? How many treatments will be needed in your experience? My experience is that pain relief is possible but to get shoulder mobile to 90° near impossible.

    I assisted a patient to their feet and the patient through themselves back holding my arm. I cannot lift my only but 6 inches above my head, rotating driving steering wheels to the left is difficult as well as reaching for seat belt and cannot get my arm above my back. This gets worse with physical therapy and have seen many doctors. Where can I go in New England, US to see specialist who understands this technique?

      I'm sorry but i dont have any references of practitioners in the US

      @sergioferreiramtc  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ynsa is very hard to learn from books
      I'd advise you to look for a course with a good instructor
