How this needling of the head points does not insert infection under skin or onto skull? It is not sterile, nor priorly cleaned with alcohol.😮
The likelihood of infection with acupuncture is very low If you can clean the scalp wirh alcohol all the better but with hair it's hard

Hello Sérgio, Thank you for your video’s. In this type of acute headache, do you always use Ling gu and Da bai and then add the shu stream point of the affected meridian as a guiding point? So in the case of an occipital headache would you use Ling gu + Da bai + bladder 65 and Kidney 3 ? Thank you!
Thank you. No, not always, ling gu and dabai are very versatile but i dont use them for every head ache, generally i wil use them for pain coming from the yang ming or from the liver. They can be used in other types of headache but those 2 cases are the ones that automatically make me think of these points, for a pain more kid/Bl I like to use 22.08 and 22.09 (close to Si 3 and 4) specially if the pain is related to kid deficiency
Thank you again for your reply. So for a case of gallbladder headache I could use for example Sanchasan or zhongbai and xiabai as they are on the san jiao chanel and then use Gb 41 as guiding point?
@SUDixon perfect solution. Try to check for sensitivity around the area of the points for increased effect
Thank you for taking the time to reply. I love your videos, you actually teach something that we can learn from and don’t just offer teasers that don’t offer any solutions. 🙏🏽
Very helpful thank you. I had surgery years ago for carpal tunnel on right hand. I had an accident a couple of months ago and fell on my back compression fracture L1 since then thumb and forefinger on both hands very poor circulation and numb. I believe my neck may have been affected when I fell. I will now go to my acupuncturist who is also osteopath.
I'm glad i could help. I hope you feel better soon
Gratidão professor

Hi ! M from India n sufferi g frin psoriasis. I do not much about accupunture but unable to find perfect protocol me. Can you please help ?
You need to go to a good acupuncturist, i cant diagnose at a distance
@sergioferreiramtc Actually I wanted to say that I know much about accupunture but as m on learning stage, m unable to diagnose the cause of skin condition. I do practice magnet therapy regularly for my skin condition but no protocol is working. What you need to diagnose ? It would be a great help.

Thank you again. I just reviewed your video. It is excellent how you combine different systems into one. You mentioned you decompressed her spine before you started your treatment. Is that a seperate video? Thank you ahead for your reply : )
It's a very simple technique, with the patient sitting down, back straight, you grab their head gently (standing behind them) and pull lightly, as if you were removing a motorcycle helmet then the spine carries less weight from the head and stretches up, if the symptom alleviates it's probably related to the spine, you can also do the inverse and gently press on the top of the head so the weight increases and in this case if the problem is within the spine the symptoms generally worsen.
Thank you.
🙏
I will see this patient again on Thursday. Thank you Dr Sergio
Also are you sure you used the correct location lf sanjian? The patient must feel a shock when needle gets inserted or else it won't work properly! Of the 3 needles at least 2 need to give a shock sensation or else the point does not work properly
@ I understand Dr Sergio, will check on her today to see how she feels. Tomorrow will try again. Will keep you posted! Very grateful for your advice!
Good evening Dr Sergio, today I tried the San Jian, blood letting on LU5 and the point on the jaw. A patient with frozen left shoulder did not improve. I suspect she has inflamed ligaments. The bicep is slightly swollen. San Jian, LU5 and the YNSA on the jaw all on the frozen shoulder side. She can raise her arm but lowering down her arm she has terrible pain on the LU and San Jiao meridians. The pain radiates all the way down to the forearm. Please advice what I missed out. Thank you Dr Sergio, Veronica
Without looking at the patient its hard to say, all you did was good for shoulder in general, maybe try to do a deeper analysis of the problema, identify sick meridians. Sometimes the patient doesn't feel the improvement in the moment but they will feel later. And some ties we just can help...
can this technique work for dementia ??
For dementia I'd advise trying scalp acupuncture, namely ynsa and zsa It's very difficult to treat but in ky opinion scalp acupuncture is the best technique for neurological disorders
Excellent information, thank you!
👏👏
Thank you so much for this valuable information! I use the balance method plus mtr Tung in my Tuina practice everyday. Do you think i can get the same results with Tuina?
I doubt it, tuina is a very powerful technique but in my opinion to get the full effect of some of these points you need the stimulation of a deep needle
Hello Doctor. This video is very interesting. I would just like to ask you which points you would have used in a case of frontal headache but due to Qi deficiency? Thank you very much!!
Frontal headache is 99.9% related to yang ming, so treating the stomach on the foot and large intestine on the hand will solve most cases instantly! If it's a recurring headache we need a deeper treatment to prevent future occurrences, but to solve a crisis yang ming hand and foot is the easiest solution
Thank you Dr Sergio
🙏
Amazing, chronic inflammation may be responsible for around 80% or more of noncommunicable diseases, this case is one of them and how easily was solved is impressive! Now imagine the effects on population health if people took TCM more seriously. Thank you for sharing great knowledge master Ferreira.
🙏
Great work, Sergio! Thanks for the share.

Bom dia, Prof!
I knew wei san guan controlat for the shoulder but I didn't know san jian. I can't find it when I look for it I'm told it's GI3. It's more like Tung's Fan Hou jue 22.12? And between this point and 22.05??? Thanks a lot
It's not LI3 just the same name This point comes from doctor hu wenzi, the disciple that spent moe time with master tung. Unfortunately it's not in any translated book (that i know of). But you can find images if you search online for san jian+master tung, it is a set of 3 points along and very close to the first metacarpal bone
@@sergioferreiramtc ok. Thanks a lot
Like if u are talking about the patient i have. Thank you from canada, it's very helpful. I will try it this week.
I hope it helps you!!
It looks to me as san jiao is a conductor for kidney yuan qi, so it can work the other way around and the warmth of san jiao can support kidney
Definitely sanjiao and heart support kidney, but also the shenjing does it, which makes the point amazing for supporting kidney
