With Recluse returning, people have asked the question of if it is worth their time, considering there are already similar options, and Master of Arms being a shell of its former self. Imma give my opinion (dangerous ik).

Funnelweb helped carry early Witch Queen.
Don’t get me wrong, great story of course… but the chest farming for a funnelweb was a taste of old D1 Grasp farming (omnighoul).

I love my funnelweb, but i only use my shiny recluse with subsistence and desperate measures. i really enjoy this combo and I also just love the nostalgia.

Me too, I got a shiny one with either subsistence or repulsive brace and desperate measures and it feels so good

everyone also seem to forget that you’ll be able to enhence recluse in final shape giving it a true edge against funnelweb but then again it is only slightly better so the difference is kinda negligible.

Repulser brace with destabilizing rounds is hella hard to pass up

You can't use frenzy repulser brace on recluse
