    It's easy to lose weight when young. I didn't have to try when I was your age. I just eat whatever I want lol. I didn't have to do calorie count. But when I hit 35, that's when my metabolism started slowing down. Now that I am 42, I have to eat 1K calories only if I want to lose weight. If I want to keep my weight, I should only eat max of 1.3K calories daily. It's a daily battle. I am only 155cm and 56kg. But I want to lose 3 more kilos. Sticking to 1k calorie-meal everyday takes a lot of planning. Of course when I socialise on weekends, I have to increase my calorie intake. So it takes 2 weeks to lose 1 kilo. Age plays a big role, especially if you have already given birth. Hormonal changes take over your body. Stress adds up too. You have a different stress level in your 40s (kids, caring for ageing parents, management post at work, sleep). I think it's important to also know all factors affecting weight loss/gain,

    im so happy i came across you. thank you for your videos. everyone always wants to cut out rice, but rice is life (at least for me it is LOL). every time i see meal preps its always the same food and its based on Caucasian cuisine. im mestiza but i grew up filipino. and im hoping that watching your videos will not just help me to be healthy but also to help me learn more tagalog (my mom didnt teach me, and sometimes she mixed tagalog, ilocano and english all together)

    Thanks for sharing, Kat! Super helpful nito. Segway lang, been following your workout routine noon pa nung NASA 2-storey house ka pa, na may tao sa baba kaya bawal magtatalon talaga hehe. Since, gusto ko magbalik alindog bumalik ako sa videos mo, grabe pangmalakasan pa din workout mo :) Kat, ask lang pano naman yung gusto lang i-maintain 50kg weight ko pero gusto ko lang mawala or lumiit man lang mommy belly ko at arms, anong meal dapat at ilang calorie? Sana may meal prep ka din for maintaining gain pero di bloated. Thank you! Sharawt from Zamboanga City pala!! Love love!
