      U feel so dumb because u don't read and this cio spook will lie to the gullible and your kind without mercy. Cio is like your kbg or Cia, your mossad. These guys are specifically recruited and trained to play the devils advocate. Be careful and don't believe everything he says because he is at work to drive certain views and agendas. The anc is not beating and killing opposition members in election time or post elections. Zanupf does kill opposition members, destroy their homes and incarcerate any one with dissenting voices. Rutendo will confuse lazy people who do not want to read.

    Abantu emzansi have been free for 28 years but still don't have a black-owned bank. They are not allowed to have mining licences unlike in Zimbabwe. Indigenous Zimbabweans are now running smolanyana gold mines in the mountains and earning a living. They control the fuel supply and have their own banks and insurance companies. Iqbal Surve tried to start a bank and was attacked but the ANC, EFF, IFP, COPE, etc failed to take a stand. Africans living in the UK are not able to even send £1000 to families ekhaya because of the rules of the FATF. It will be virtually impossible when CBDC's get rolled out. The collective West will do everything to keep Africa as a resource colony. Ghana and Ivory Coast for the first time refused to attend the World Cocoa Foundation meeting in Brussels this October for obvious reasons. Zimbabwe has inspired Africa immensely by standing up to the global bullies. Great educational and inspiring analytical content indeed. Thanks again to Penuel and Rutendo and we look forward to the next one. PHAMBILI AFRIKA!!!

    Just saw pictures trending on Twitter of Nikes worth around R800000 and a top South African Dj owns one and some of the sneakers trending are sold pre owned, and reminds me what Rutendo touched on consumerism and how Americans grew their economy on consumerism, think of the frenzy that happens on latest IPhones, fashion, brand of cars, people are caught in serious consumerism eating out, buying goods on credit, credit cards, instead of channeling money to the productive sectors, manufacturing, South Africa use to be a giant in manufacturing, highly industrialized and producing a wide range of goods and now there is a little manufacturing taking place in the country and there is almost everything imported, When i saw the Nikes trending i just thought of what Rutendo touched on,earlier in the morning today, The podcast was great and very informative.

    • @Curiousviewer22
      @Curiousviewer22 ปีที่แล้ว

      There is nothing wrong with consumerism if most of the manufacturing is within the country. The multiplier effect in economics is such that an 80% propensity to consume will multiply $100 to $500. China will not have to worry about sustaining itself with exports, because it has a large population of middle income consumers -- and it can produce what it consumes.

    Dr. Claud Anderson put it very well when he said, "Racism is a team sport, you either play as a team or lose by default." We are the only people who fall for or foolish enough to believe liberal non-racialism. Liberal non-racialism in South Africa begins with the first constitutional arrangement in the cape, (cape liberalism which inaugurated in 1852) which said that the first "civilized" (westernized) natives could vote as long they pass the test of westernization and owning property, what Rhodes called "the equal rights for all civilized men south of the Sahara" - one man, one vote which the Boers disapproved as they didn't want nothing at all to do with the blacks, they later adopted this strategy of-course as evident with parties such as the DA.
    We are the only people who are told not to focus on race when we start to talk about racism, black power and the dismantlement of white hegemony. We forget that at the foundation of racism and colonization is anti-blackness, just look at the condition of black people in the Americas, Europe, Asia including here on the continent. Non-racialism is very convenient for them who continue to colonize the world on the premise of racism, which they pioneered, down to a science. Dr. John Henrik Clarke told us, "we have no friends"
    Brilliant episode, thank you.

    Rutendwa Matinyarare is a brilliant black mind that deserves more than two hours on the show. In actuality I think Penuel show convince Rutendwa to be his Co host or have his own independent podcast. We need more of this content and i thank you Penuel for bringing him onto the show again.

      God works in mysterious ways. I actually met Rutendo in our studios over the weekend before he goes on Air, I introduced myself, requested a picture with him and ofcourse he obliged. Sadly not knowing his interview that went so well will later be pulled. I was honoured to meet him, I'm glad I told him and appreciated him. Clearly 2023 is going to be a great year. Big Up Black Pen.

      It's a good idea but the African economy is still too weak. We need to fix the politics so real empowerment policies can be put in place. We are struggling because we have too many people who still think we can work with the enemy.
