It's always beautiful and inspiring listening to young African people engaged in decolonisation projects, and also appreciating the fact that it's not late for Africa to regain her dignity. Throughout the 1960s African leaders like Dr Kwame Nkrumah, Patrice Lumumba and Nyerere have been trying to educate and reunite Africans, colonial forces overcame all these efforts, but with discourses like these I can feel the winds of change blowing in the Africa direction.
@@lamlataitai8457 l think you are a bit lost. He did not follow any white person. He came into SA in 1992 when things were still very painful for the natives. You can hate him all you want but he is a force to reckon with.
Best Episode of Hustlers corner, this can be used as a lesson lecture for schools and universities. Sadly, we produce graduates who can not understand these basic principles that are discussed here. Shoutout to Maponga, indeed he’s the walking library.
Sbu & the team, I am blown away by this interview! I have watched it 3 times taking notes. This interview is indeed 'ICONIC' my brother SBU. Guys; you are really changing our mind set towards our mental emancipation from the colonial system, yo! I love what you are doing guys!!!
I may not agree with a lot with what Penuel or Mr Maponga. But I appreciate their presentation of knowledge and challenging the public to wreslte with ideas that they usually don't care to think through. Waking us up! While I agree with his assessment of democracy, I believe people/lobby should have the right to choose who gets ultimate power. And I would have no problem with dictatorships if African leaders where competent or CARED about their people.
Yes bro but democracy has never worked for us ever since...even if we can choose leadership we will suffer again and again until we change the system it self.
I grew up in a Zimbabwe with shops which had 99% goods which were locally made, when the economy collapsed 99% of the goods came from South Africa, multi national companies moved production to South Africa, production facilities turned into warehouses. The beneficiaries of the collapse don't want Zimbabwe to be stable again
I feel like your history is miss guided 99% of your so called local made ,where made by the foreigners who came illegally to your country and exploit it to their benefit ,and they publish it as basket if Africa ,while the natives suffered in the infertile lands like Gwaii and others, when Mugabe gvt took over the system and try to equalize it ,they call him a dictator and they feel uncomfortable ,then they move to SA ,Zambia and other countries one is benefiting out of this collapsed system although its on its verge to stand up again with true independence
Sanctions are for destroying countries. Many people suffer. This cannot be initiated by anyone with human tenderness and compassion. Education, is of course the weapon of choice, to Reclaim our story.
Many years ago in Eswatini they made english to be the passing subject. As a result we lost a lot of bright minds who were brilliant in maths and science but poor in english. They were failed and cast outside as dunderheads or izidomu. I know this because I was in class with students who were some of the best minds in Swaziland. I felt sad to see them being cast outside as failures. This passing subject system alone cost Eswatini generations of intellectual capital that will never be recovered. Russia has some of the best scientists in the world who don't speak a single word of english. So does france, china, and many other nations. Even the leaders of these nations only address the UNGA in their indigenous languages. Except Africans who do their best to address the UNGA in the colonial master's language. VUKA AFRIKA!!!!!
I agree 100%. As a teacher myself i feel we need to completely change each subject's curriculum to better suit n lead the path to finding relevant/current national problems. I understand the need for food and nutrition in schools, but where is the scope/ topic about food security or the importance of proper nutrition in the family? Its more like for 1 to pass they need not to understand but regurgitate answers from previous question papers.
Imagine depending on which school your child is in we still habe English and Afrikaans. Language should not be a passing subject!!!! It should be taught very differently💔
I truly appreciate the effort you guys put to pass the message of decolonizing the mind. Plucking off the foreign dress we have in Africa and redress ourselves into our true selves. One day i will share this talk with you guys.
I am in favour With bringing all the SADC countries ... To be honest we don't have borders here, particularly when you go to Mahikeng, Tshidilamolomo, Lesotho, Swaziland, Zimbabwe etc
Note that all the countries that borders us do have the border. The concept that a border means that the whole country is fenced is fallacious. This is not only in Africa, you find that in Europe, Asia. It is only our country that the neighbours do not respect our borders because of the ANC’s neglect of our law.
@@mthokozisilanga4497 😅 what borders? Kingdom cigarettes are made in Zimbabwe and sold illegally in every corner of South Africa. Robbing both Zim and SA formal economy. Also people move illegally into other countries all over Africa and the world at large. Read up on the numbers Angola has repatriated back to Congo.

@@CarlosSilva-gg6yt it works the same way as Zimbabweans receiving free public health care, and education subsidies, jobs, housing etc in South Africa purely because the ANC allows and sponsors it. It is a fact that Zimbabweans benefit from SA "democracy". If SA took land the two countries would be in the same battle against NATO, so basically SA made a sacrifice for SADC. Now Zim must also sacrifice for SA citizens. In fact SADC countries must support poor South Africans like SA is supporting them. You can't be against Xenophobia but not want poor Black South Africans to own land in Zimbabwe.

This is definitely a classic podcast. Great knowledge from Baba Maponga, shaperening the minds of us Africans to think critically and to have a mentality of solving African problems with solutions that work for Africans. As a Zimbabwean myself who has lived in Zimbabwe for almost half of my life I think he is over simplifying the cost it means to do business in Zimbabwe. To get that mine he is talking about is about who you know in the ruling party and what token of appreciation you willing to pay the leadership structures in order to keep that mine and to continue to profit from it. Anyway, this is a fact but not taking anything away from this(and am also over simplifying the Zanu issue) a lot of great Gems Baba gave us. Great interview.
Thanks for the BLESSINGS and our HOPE for the future. You young people our UNLIMITED TREASURES, I thank you , without dreaming for OUR thing, it cannot come into being.

I enjoyed watching your podcast and some of brilliant ideas that came out of this show ,For example turning Beitbridge into a medical hub and industrial hub as that would make it possible for the people to seek medical health in Zimbabwe and within the borders of Zimbabwe as most people crossing into South Africa are coming from areas close to the borders India is known to be a destination where people travel for the purposes of treatment and other's call this medical tourism and Beitbridge is very strategic as South African companies and Zimbabwean companies could invest and create jobs and both countries' economies grow because of proximity of the Beitbridge town to South Africa and medical equipment and suppliers could benefit from such opportunities ,Beitbridge coud be turned into an economic processing zone and for example minerals that are being mined in Zimbabwe are processed in South Africa and think of the growth if there could be smelters in Zimbabwe ,beneficiation and value addition with Beitbridge being there as a transit zone to Durban taking finished products overseas and growing the economies of Zimbabwe and South Africa and the region (SOUTHERN AFRICA) and I do agree culture is important so is spirituality to any country by destroying the moral fibre of a society you destroy conscience within the people of that society and corruption and all other vices grows within the society and destroys such a society hence the first thing colonialists destroyed was culture or attempted destroying and in countries that still have their cultures for example India still has its culture and check the growth of their economy ,they still wear Sari ,do business in their languages using own writing systems same with Japan, China and Russia compare that to countries whose culture was destroyed and on medical insurance if the countries in the region invest in smelters and processes minerals in their own countries that would mean less trucks into South Africa with raw ore but processed minerals and grow the economies of those countries ,create jobs and taxes paid could build hospitals and in so doing stopping people to seek medical treatments in South Africa by industrializing those countries and eventually once all countries have developed at same level it would be easy to integrate and Southern Africa could become one country perhaps with a GDP of USD 1.5m to 2 Trillion because there is minerals to back the economies and currencies of those countries and lastly do not hesitate to go to Zimbabwe because Zimbabwe is not a poor country the media daily speaks of Zimbabwe in the negative and scandalising it but when you fly to Zimbabwe daily there is a lot of whites from South Africa flying to Zimbabwe for business opportunities ,one secret is where ever they say there is a crisis there is opportunities to make money and do business and the black South Africans who are open minded like you guys will definitely make it in Zimbabwe. Try check the other side of Zimbabwe that they do not show on Televisions and think if there was no challenges like ones being experienced where would Zimbabwe be by now since 1999 when all these challenges started ,at one time the second largest economy after South Africa, the second most industrialized ,second biggest stock exchange in Africa after JSE ,once had best education systems there is potential Zimbabwe is just a sleeping giant when it rises it will be like a Phoenix and those seizing opportunities now will be very far ahead in the midst of politics and what is called crisis ,African people cannot sanction themselves hence African people talk differences since time immemorial and political differences and nationalities must not stop African people from doing business amongst themselves imagine how many jobs will be created in South Africa if Zimbabwe gets back to where it was and how many South Africans would invest in Zimbabwe it is to the best interests of South Africa, Zimbabwe and Africa especially with continental free trade area and regional integration if Zimbabwe works and gets back to its position as a leader in mining, agriculture ,tourism and human resources among others.
Thanks for an excellent interview. Can't wait to come home to meet king Maponga. You right sir, SA is the weakest link to the Continent's progress and until Rhodes is removed from our shrine, the the bondage on Zim will remain. Plus the colonizer names on our streets, infrastructure etc, eg Victoria Falls in Zim and other places in SA, these names have a spiritual bondage on the land. For the countries to move forward, these names must be removed.

Maponga needs to be protected, he's great .
BATHU Moment gave me goosebumps....THEO ...Beautiful Interview
I absolutely agree with him on making education meaningful and reflective to the students daily lives.
THAT PRAYER will remain relevant for a very long time
It's always beautiful and inspiring listening to young African people engaged in decolonisation projects, and also appreciating the fact that it's not late for Africa to regain her dignity. Throughout the 1960s African leaders like Dr Kwame Nkrumah, Patrice Lumumba and Nyerere have been trying to educate and reunite Africans, colonial forces overcame all these efforts, but with discourses like these I can feel the winds of change blowing in the Africa direction.
Maponga is a genius, we as Africans we are in need of more thinkers like him to get ourselves out of this sea of poverty.
Why he doesn't think in his home land but he opt to follow the same white person he chase in his homeland
A POWERFUL OPENNING AND PRAYER!!!!
This interview resuscitated NEW LIFE INTO MY SPIRIT!!!
THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!
powerful respect to the old man joshua maponga🥲
That prayer touched me, this what we all need daily in our lives to fight all this evil things happening in this world.
its not global.. its injustice and indoctrination that you must act against
In terms of IMPACT this is the BEST INTERVIEW I've ever watched. We need more Joshuas in SA
Iconic interview indeed
Sbu & the team, I am blown away by this interview! I have watched it 3 times taking notes. This interview is indeed 'ICONIC' my brother SBU. Guys; you are really changing our mind set towards our mental emancipation from the colonial system, yo! I love what you are doing guys!!!
Me to.i tok.some notes ..such those not come.around aften🥰
THIS IS SO POWERFUL... NGYABONGA BAFOWETHU UKUTHI NISIVULE AMEHLO
Gratitude always Zimbabwe's, Babylon shitstem have fallen so claim your power and what is rightfully yours. One INITY family Tuko pomoja UBUNTU 🌍
Sanctions are for destroying countries. Many people suffer. This cannot be initiated by anyone with human tenderness and compassion. Education, is of course the weapon of choice, to Reclaim our story.
In the 80s and most of the 90s, I can even say they were 100%
If you never experienced it I feel sorry for you, you missed out big time
We South Africans are cursed to have Zimbabwe as neighbor😩😩 like really
Rise my Africa, It's only a matter of time. Play your part in whatever you can✊🏾
Many years ago in Eswatini they made english to be the passing subject.
That's a banana Kingdom
This thing won't change you have to accept and live with it
My brother that system was also done in Botswana. I am not sure if they have changed it yet.
I truly appreciate the effort you guys put to pass the message of decolonizing the mind. Plucking off the foreign dress we have in Africa and redress ourselves into our true selves. One day i will share this talk with you guys.
Joshua Moponga is a divine prophet sent to liberate Africa and it's diaspora. we must honor and receive his message.
Mr Maponga is boxing with that mic, he's going to knock it out.🤣😂🤣
The value of this episode is priceless.
I am in favour With bringing all the SADC countries ... To be honest we don't have borders here, particularly when you go to Mahikeng, Tshidilamolomo, Lesotho, Swaziland, Zimbabwe etc
Same here... I see that as a more practical approach than uniting the whole continent
SADC really should be 1 state...countries as provinces...one currency...We'd be a competitive region.
@@MufaroMusaraNamibia and Botswana would not want to join South Africa and Zimbabwe with all their problems and uncertainty and their weak currency.
Powerful massage ❤

@@majestic4124 And Gayton McKenzie at one time..
How about Zim gives land to poor South Africans
@@RSVPrr how does that work?
I love your programs eye opening mind blowing and worth data consumption just veiwed this show today 16 April 2023 .# Africa mayibuye may we unit as Africans one love one heart and let's stay together and everything is gonna be Alright. #in Zimbabwe proud African.

Beautiful interview, Maponga J. We should celebrate this brother
I somehow can always understand the context when you all go in and out of languages, it's amazing
Thanks for bringing my greatest mentor to ur platform this is king Tau from Botswana Happy African year ❤
This is definitely a classic podcast.
No lie there
hmmm....not entirely true though, its not as difficult unless you want to usurp someone's block thats when you need political muscle
Thanks for the BLESSINGS and our HOPE for the future. You young people our UNLIMITED TREASURES, I thank you , without dreaming for OUR thing, it cannot come into being.

I cant be the only one who felt that prayer
Cant belive i listened to the whole thing Mr Mapongo now o see myself diffrent i am going back to all ur talks and pay attention i have learnt a lot
Perfectly said my brother!!!
Africans should all gather here because our solutions are here...!! Maponga you sent by our great great ancestors to wake Africans up!!
I just wanna say long live Maponga, because of his knowledge influence now am able to acknowledge each and every babylon system
Just please also watch videos for Rutendo Matinyarare
Thanks for an excellent interview. Can't wait to come home to meet king Maponga. You right sir, SA is the weakest link to the Continent's progress and until Rhodes is removed from our shrine, the the bondage on Zim will remain. Plus the colonizer names on our streets, infrastructure etc, eg Victoria Falls in Zim and other places in SA, these names have a spiritual bondage on the land. For the countries to move forward, these names must be removed.
3 Kings on 1 Table, Yooh let me learn 🔥🔥🔥🔥
