Like always you make this job so easier, i watch you on tiktok in the past but i'm glad that i found your youtube channel, keep up the good work!
So you do not require the JCID programmer if you are using the pre programmed flex?
So with the tagon flex I don't need the battery coding machine again?
Hi there, just wanted to ask, what tag on flex do yo buy? cheers
So good
I thought the whole point of soldering the BMS was to avoid the error message - why do you need the tag on flex to be connected first before removing it?
I assume if you solder the BMS to the new battery, but don't add the tag on flex, it will still show error messages?
I have the same Qian-Li tool and tried this process on an iPhone XS summer last year, accidentally broke the BMS board so ended up just putting in a third party battery since it's now not possible to get around the non-genuine battery warning.
Where do I buy these batteries?
So basically only one tag on flex is needed for all my repairs? Since I don’t need to leave it in the phone and can reuse it? Does the BMS then just restart and count down again as a new battery?
Yes! I keep a couple for each model but they are 100% removable and reusable
@@iDoctorUK😮just seems odd that in any other repair they leave them. But that will reduce the cost of changing a battery significantly if it works without

Thank you for your support 🙏
so easy track
Apple why the hell did you make it so hard to replace an effin' battery.
Learn from TV remote controls and add a gasket to make it waterproof.

Thank you brother ❤️

Sick! How do you Get parts delivered over there?
No need to use reprogramer like JCID? Just the tag on flex?
You need to purchase a tag on flex that is pre-programmed for the iPhone you are using. You can re-use your existing tag on flex but will need to reprogram it to reset the battery cycles and health. The programmer can cost $100+ so a pre programmed tag on flex is the way to go for a personal diy replacement
Will my battery hopefully come set up ready to just install instead of me having to solder and fix it myself?
Without an important battery message, not anymore.

Ciao!
I have an iPhone that will keep showing the old data at 88%, I have tried connecting a different battery, rebooting and reconnecting the new battery with the transfered bms board again but to no avail. The new data won't show up whatever I do, have you come into this? I have done many replacements without issues with the same tag on. Thanks in advance for your reply
for ios 17.4.1, you might need to restore battery health through 3utools. install the battery with flex to the board and connect the phone to the pc. if the battery in the 3utools showing 100%, you can reset battery health to 100%
@@zarifhilmy7479 Thanks for your response! It indeed shows 100% in 3utools, how do i reset the battery health to 100%? Can't seem to find any reset battery health option in 3utools
@@blackrepairs5978 flash your device. go to - easy flash - quick flash - tick on restore battery health. ( this step will fully reset your device. should backup first. do this step with installed tag-on-flex. after process is done reboot your phone. check the battery health. once shown 100%, can remove the tag.
go to easy flash - quick flash mode. tick on the fix battery health. this step will reset your device
@@zarifhilmy7479 Cheers man, found it. Is this problem only on 17.4.1 that you know? And is there a way without resetting the device, if a client were to come with a phone on the newest iOS at this point repairing with battery health showing at 100% would not be possible as the clients phone would lose the data..
need programmer to this just tag on flex will not show 100% bettery
Followed all steps but no luck. The old battery health is still present. iOS 17.4.1. Tag on flex v3.3. Does anyone found a solution on how to reset the cycles and battery health???
You need to flash your phone.
waching fron india nice video
100% battery health is much better.
wait... wasn't the battery replaced from the back of the phone???? Mine back glass is broken i thought need to fix that before i change battery haha
lmao i thouigt that too
What is the ideal percentage of isopropyl alcohol to use?
I have heard 70% to clean the phone and 90-99.99% for removing leftover adhesive and that is what I currently use.
Followed all the steps but didnt get 100% BH
No need worry may be he don’t show us battery circuit reprogrammed
@@LIVE_FOR_TRUTH86 Yes, you are right. He do not showi battery activation and battery board reprogramming for which you need aditionaly equipment.
is that 70% alcohol? or 95%?
It’s actually 99.9%
Thought you needed a special tool to program the battery
You needed a programmer for the previous tag on, these new tag ons are already pre-programmed so no programming required.
where can i get new tag ones from? The ones that reprogram by itself?
But the battery already come with that conector
Most will unless you specifically buy it without the bms. The purpose of this video is to avoid the non-genuine part warning
@@iDoctorUK thanks sensei
I did exactly same, step by step, and my condition isn’t 100. It’s 80% as it was before repair. Any ideas? I have used tag on 3,1 version if that’s important
And I had no message about battery :/
Try put it in 99%
