On the FFR site it says 8 to 12 hours. You could pick up a fast charger and cut that time way down but it might not be the best for battery longevity. As for a second battery, the scooter is not designed for quick battery change outs. I've got a Mantis on order.
Hi I was riding this today and to my surprise, the footrest was punching the back mudguard each time I jumped harder or rode on a whole , or bigger uneven ground. I tried normal and PRO version - both had the same issue and my weight is 85kg / 187 lbs. It says it supports 120 kg - how come?

Are you in Europe? Electric scooters here have a limited top speed. Legally it would be considered a motorcycle if it was any faster, and then you'd need a licence plate, insurance and all that. It's still possible to hack them, to unlock the full power.
@@Oivaras I have private roads around where i live that i use, as well as i use it around my property a lot. But i mostly need this sort of power for hill-climbs and tough terrain. My scooter maxes out at 14km/h in 15 degree hills, which is fairly unimpressive.

I like your honesty about how driving these scooters is truly ‘putting your life on the line’. Some kids nearly crashed into our Model 3 as we were leaving the Miami Supercharger on 8th st. I stopped when I saw them round a blind turn. The kids had to lay them down and slide to get them stopped. Can you demonstrate that maneuver on concrete at 40mph? While you are at it, show us what happens when you hit a truck at 40mph.

I would get the cheapest one because they both are expensive as F*** for a kick scooter and where I would get the best customer service if needed, so if that means the more expensive one, I'd take that for the customer service quality.
That's nice, but very scary to say you can easily lose control at 20-40mph and would come flying off that and do serious bodily damage to yourself. The wheel is so small, that it could easily be a disaster if unforeseen things are in the road. Or if your at that speed, 40mph, and have to make a sudden turn.
Love the mantis. Have you test any scooters like the mantis that you can sit down and has range of 50 miles ona charge and 56 mph. I would love something like that if you know of any scooters like that. If not I would then get the mantis. Great video.

the mantis fold, the time for charging depands on how bigger charger you use.

That's nice, but very scary to say you can easily lose control at 20-40mph and would come flying off that and do serious bodily damage to yourself. The wheel is so small, that it could easily be a disaster if unforeseen things are in the road. Or if your at that speed, 40mph, and have to make a sudden turn.
Love the mantis. Have you test any scooters like the mantis that you can sit down and has range of 50 miles ona charge and 56 mph. I would love something like that if you know of any scooters like that. If not I would then get the mantis. Great video.

Taking up a kwh every couple MINUTES (aka supercharging) is indeed the missing element. This scooter TODAY featured's $2100 model has about a fourth (kwh's 1.5 V 5.3) the BATTERY of the Thai Tuk class despite it having limited range- unfortunately it takes much LONGER than a few MINUTES to refill . . .more like hour's RIGHT?

One Australian audio company has rolled out a power wall claiming ONLY it pays for itself guaranteeing decades life at three 100% charge discharge cycles a day. The solution is to buy a bassy boombox ('Bluetooth Speaker') with the scooter as ACCESSORY for power port on it apparently. I'd honestly rather get an e-bike if I were going to be riding at these speeds. Even better suspension options, much larger wheels mean much better stability, and just more stable overall. Plus for longer rides you get to sit on it.
While watching your video review of this scooter, I get the impression that an angry Beetle or Green Hornet is following you with the camera due to the fast side to side movement and shakiness!! I know the video playback is sped up, but just saying..

2 NINEBOT MAX'S for the same price.... with 40 mile range and 19 mile limit. 19 is fast enough for me, when I fell on my max earlier today I could have died so no ty about 40 mph ahah plus i got the max for 651 all included tax shipping etc and this one is 1.5k... When I need another scooter in 6 months-1 year hopefully these all come down a few hundred at least
