The Bragdon molds make for great rock castings. I have another video where I've installed the rock casting on part of my layout. If you watch that you can see how they look in place. Thanks for watching!
Thanks, I'm pretty happy with how the castings turned out. The hydrocal from Amazon is very different than the Woodland Scenics lightweight hydrocal, the Amazon hydrocal sets up much faster and gets very hard. I should have a video up next Saturday showing a corner of my layout with the rocks in place. Thanks for watching, these videos aren't getting many views and I'm not sure if I'll be doing more after the next one.
Great videos about the bragdon molds! Those are beautifull castings indeed. I am planning on buying a couple of those. Do you know the articlenumbers the casts you poured have? The pictures on the bragdson website are not very clear. Thanks
I think I show the number of the molds in the videos either before casting or when removing the molds from the cured plaster. I think I bought 11 or 12 molds; some I use more than others. I still have a lot of rocks to cast for my layout, but I probably won't do any more rock casting videos.
Thank you for this interesting video. I just learned about Bragdons molds so this was very usefull to me. They look great!
