    Thank you Porsche for giving us an awesome race to watch. Wasn't yours sadly, but you should be proud of yourselves.
    Wasn't really rooting for anyone, just hoping for a team to stop Toyota's dominance. You delivered by challenging them and that was awesome to watch.
    I honestly felt like we've witnessed the best hours of endurance racing and Le Mans. So happy to see the big names like you, Ferrari, Toyota, GM and Peugeot fighting.

      @OscarZheng50 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      As soon as toyota has competition in le mans, they don't win. when porsche and audi were in wec with the 919 and r18, the Toyota could not win any 24 hours of le mans races. once porsche and audi left, they started winning. now porsche is back and a bunch of other manufacturers joined with them and toyota is back to losing le mans races

    • @TobRacer
      @TobRacer ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@OscarZheng50 Don't forget Toyota almost beat Porsche and Audi in 2016. They had it for 23H56.
      And in 2014 they were leading the race until their car was on fire in the early morning.
      I think they can win with competition, they could have done it themselves even last weekend but like most time they ran out of luck.
      Never ever under estimate Toyota. They are really strong and capable. Like Audi in 2009, 2015 and 2016 they are beatable.

    • @OscarZheng50
      @OscarZheng50 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@TobRacer yep every endurance race requires a certain amount of luck to win/finish but its quite a coincidence that toyota loses when they have competition. they seemed like the dominant force in le mans after winning multiple consecutive le mans races but in the face of adversary, when they need it most, luck fails them.

    • @matteosiefert846
      @matteosiefert846 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      @@OscarZheng50 And bc of stupendous ppl like u I wanted Toyota to win.
      Which they btw would've done if it wasn't for the BOP. And even with the BOP they would've done so without Hirakawas personal error that has nothing to do with the performance of Toyota itself.
      So please stop hating on a team, that did everything right but this year just didn't have the luck.
      Adding onto that: the 5 wins they have are well deserved and not worth less than any other Le Mans win, bc adversaries aside, you first have to conquer Le Mans itself, THAT is the main quest in this race, year and year again.

    I'm Italian and I'm really proud of our victory at Le Mans after 50 years, I'm really proud but well, everyone knows that Porsche wrote the history in Le Mans, and Porsche prototypes still remain in my heart, for my childhood and for my dreams.
    I really want to say thanks, for the great competition that Porsche always brought to the tracks.
    We know that Porsche cars are dream-built cars.
    Proud of being winner at Le Mans with Ferrari, but Porsche has a special place in my heart.
    I won't ever forget for example, the outstanding performance of the 919 hybrid Evo at the Nürburgring Nordschleife.
    No human built car would ever be capable of that, we're speaking of dream-built masterpieces.
    I really congrats for Porsche's performance out there in Le Mans, both LMH and GTLM.
    Cannot see a Le Mans edition without Porsche's presence. Cannot be Le mans anymore.

    For me personally, I still believe in Porsche's capability in LeMans, just seems it not trying hard anymore (not refering to drivers, they did great jobs).
    To put it in context, among all 16 hypercars (7 different types), Porsche had 4 entries including team Hertz Jota but finished second last (9th) to a less known car VANWALL Vandervell 680. It felt like just a bad luck when one or two cars went down, but it is a different story when they all did.
    So even many people claim their historic and accumulated victories are the most among all, it is an undeniable bad or even embarrassing result for fans celebrating its 75th anniversary.
    The competition is only getting more fierce next year because of the BoP for Toyota this year and great perfermances from Cadillac and Ferrari. So keep it up, Porsche!

    To win, first you must finish (the Porsche motto, no?) Watching the race, I had the feeling that the drivers needed to push quite hard to keep pace in the 963, despite a favourable BoP! Combined with the apparent lack of reliability, that gave us the attrition rate we saw. By comparison, the RSR-19 was the heaviest car in it's class and performed admirably. I'm a huge Porsche fan to say the least... So it was a hard race to watch. Here's hoping there's scope (budget?) to bring the 963 up to speed and quality we all expect.

    It has been without a doubt the best experience of my life, attending the centenary of the mother of all races. I went with my father and we both enjoyed it like kids. We both supported Porsche and although the result has not been the desired one, we know that they are not going to give up and will come back stronger than ever. Of the whole experience right now I keep 2 things, the first is the picture I could take with Kevin Estre, a super nice driver who agreed to take a picture with me when he realized that I recognized him moments before the gridwalk and did not put any problem to stop for a moment and I took this piece of memory of the race (besides he is just my favorite driver and the car which we both cheered). The second best thing of this experience is to see that I'm in the official Porsche video (I'm the guy with the camera, cap and raincoat at minute 1:23), what more can I ask for as a fan of Porsche?
    Thanks Porsche for every moment of joy you gave us

I was expecting much more from the Iron Dames' 911 in LM GTE category but although it was very promising during the race finally they didn't make it. Sad to see that the car still has its issues... Pace was there with the Hertz Porsche in the lead for quite some time despite starting way back in the field, but too many mistakes and issues took every chance away. The car seems to have potential, but it needs to improve reliability, and the competition doesn't sleep and will only get harder with more manufacturers joining next year.
    Porsche has proven to be great in all its history, but sadly this year is not their year. First the hard defeat at the 24h Nürburgring, now at Le Mans as well - it can only go up from here

    The 963 wasn't ready and still has a few kinks to work out, but I'm hoping that by the 2024 season, the 963 will be completely capable of competing with its LMH competitors.

    I cudnt sleep watching Porsche Not winning Le Mans......i wanted the 75th Anniversary of This Legendary Racing Name to be Winning and mightily......but well.....u guys returned after a hiatus......im sure the teams learnt a lot from this absolutely grueling race which is pushing automotive engineering to its zenith...Porsche is that Zenith...just probably that tiny mistakes caused this years trophy......my gut feel is Porsche will be back next as the team to reckon with......and destroy the competition......hope the 963 can prove what the 962 did......

    Pace wise Porsche was very close already, just the reliability was an issue and I got the feeling the drivers needed to push way harder than their competitors to squeeze out those lap times, as we could see when Estre tried to catch up with the Cadillac.
    Shout out to Laurens Vanthoor by the way, unbelievable race. Top 3 in overtakes and really set them up strong in the early hours
