Keep jarnkrok trade Kampf and Lily. Jarnkrok can play 1st,2nd,3rd,4th, Pk, and pp and never looks out of place. 2.1 for him is good cause minten and cowan still aren’t fully ready.
All defense players need to play a physical style of game as well. Kampf, Brodie, these types of guys have no place on my teams.

Kampf is a defensive forward never expected him to score a lot. You are not getting this type of player at a lower cost. Wrong move. Nylander or Marner need to move to clear space they the Leafs just need to makeup their mind.

Wish you guys would get it into your fking heads you can't trade one of the best forwards in the world for a Dman unless you're getting a Pronger and there is no one in the league like him. In 2022 Leafs picked at 38 and then 95 so they missed on some great players, I wanted them to pick Firkus. The only team I see worth sending Marner to if they were crazy enough to trade him would be Seattle. Wright, Firkus and a Dman for Marner. I watched a lot of Jr hockey and Firkus is twice the player Minten is.
Kampf has a great defensive game. I would ship Lilljgren and Robertson BEFORE Kampf first
Trade them all for 2025 draft picks since they have none.

Hey Matt you might be right bro, but I don't believe for one hot second they're not trying to! Marner holds all the cards, he can simply play put his contract then walk leaving the Leafs properly screwed!!
They're certainly never going to admit they're shopping him, because if Marner does refuse to play ball the last thing the Leafs and Tree want it's to leave the taste of failure in their pie holes.
I think it's more about Shanahan being perceived as incompetent having been part of the Dubas debacle where he (Dubas) was given a highly coveted job as Leaf GM, which was the biggest mistake the Leafs have EVER made when they could have had their pick of all available veteran, experienced GMs.
Dubas was lost as NHL GM and the only plan he could muster was a losing one which he was permitted to keep redoing even when the damage being done by his incompetence was done so in real time and Shanahan just kept letting him deplete picks and prospects for rentals he knew he couldn't extend!!
Anyway, Dubas and Shanahan are the ambiguously incompetent duo who put Tree in this tentative circumstance.
