  • Slow follow along barre is a very simple selection of exercises that can help you work on muscles, understand coordination, think about corrections and alignment. The repetition of simple slow movements are very effective in order to tone muscles and warm them up.
With Slow follow along barre you can easily concentrate on the simple combination and understand the right mechanics of each and single step performed.

I'm a 15 year old male who does contemporary dancing. I never took a ballet class and i didn't even know the basics. In 3-6 months there is this audition for a performing arts school so i needed to at least know the basics. When I did this for the first time (today) I was sweating, it is pretty hard and I feel terrible. I really want to get in the school and I will continue doing this but my chances aren't looking that great. Thanks for teaching us the basics of ballet and it inspires me to work harder! ❤️

Well I want to thank you Alessia - I started ballet at 5 years of age and taught ballet while my 2 sons were growing up. I am now 62 and it is only thanks to discovering your ballet workouts during the first lock down that I re-ignited my passion for keeping ballet fit myself and I have been doing your ballet barre for the last 2 years. It has been amazing and now, even when I am away and don't have access to the internet, I can hear your voice encouraging me and so glad that I discovered you ~ thank you Alessia. As long as I can I'll be enjoying ballet thanks to you.

Can you make a video for *complete*, absolute beginners like me? One where you show slowly, step by step, how to do for example a plié? I tried to do this video but I feel like I was just kind of swinging my legs in different directions without really knowing what I'm supposed to be doing, lol. But it was fun and I'd love to actually learn to do it properly! :)

I really love watching ballet and I'm tall and skinny so I thought: why not? Even though I'm terribly nonathletic. I made it to 12:27 before my legs were shaking too much and I always get so many compliments on my calf muscles lmao! Great video, I'm super impressed at your gracefulness during these. I tried to imitate it but failed. Maybe on the 2nd or 3rd try I'll be able to retain some of my dignity.

Hi Alessia! I just wanted to say thank you. I have never subscribed to any youtube channel in my life, but today I crossed the threshold and subscribed to your channel. I have an 11-year-old who just loves you. We fondly refer to you as Aunt Alessia, and whenever we do, it's with a bright grin! Thank you for sharing your love of ballet and professional expertise with such enthusiasm and humility. I look forward to my Tuesday and Friday "classes" every week. Now that I've subscribed, I really look forward to expanding my limits and my daughter's.
Keep doing what you're doing! We love you, Aunt Alessia

I was an insanely flexible kid, like i should’ve been put in gymnastics as soon as i started walking. My parents were too poor to afford ballet so through my life i didn’t really do much and had classes here n there when we could spare money. I am in my 20s now but hoping i can get my flexibility back, i do yoga and am still flexible but I’m on a medication for chronic pain so it relaxes or makes my muscles heavy but ballet helps me so much.

Precisely what I was looking for! I only started ballet recently. The pace was slow yet challenging!

This is so good... I did ballet (for adults) 6 years ago. I'm saving to buy your whole program because this single video has me feeling soo sweaty but so good!
