I hate this show because Curtis has no _________ clue what he's doing! The only way to make money is to sell at a farmers market or flea market or boot sale.
Its stupid to go somewhere and sell something saying you know nothing about the item you’re selling. (The gaming stuff, he got robbed!). That Curtis guy who sells stuff for the owners is so bad at making any kind of bargain. And what’s the point in something being an 18th century antique only for it to be sold for under twenty quid!? The lady with the perfume bottles should have took joy in dusting all them nick nacks. I’m a collector of perfume/bottles and part of the joy in it is looking at my gleaming bottles.
Oh my. We have hoarders here in America, so no judgment from me. We relocated last November from the city to the middle of nowhere. Before we even listed the house, I donated three or four panel trucks loads and after we moved three more loads to a charity shop. I am trying to not leave my son a mess of stuff to have to deal with when we are gone like I had to with my parents.
Really nice people on this show; condolences to family who lost their son- They all did so well to declutter Im sure lots of people will like the handmade clothing too
😂🤣 bahaha 120 pounds for the old consoles... he pulled him over the table there! Get your prizes online before going to those resellers. He could have get over 300 for those many working consonles, joysticks and games!
I agree easily could have offered him 300 that guy who bought the consoles made off like a bandit dirty fucker taking advantage it doesn’t matter if eBay could take time that guy just jewed the lady could have been a decent human being but instead just saw easy pickings which Isn’t right at all
I do enjoy this show and appreciate its availability. I learned the term, "organized hoard". Guilty! But...on this show they say, if you haven't worn it in 6 months, you should toss it. All those of us who live in extreme seasons (here -30C to +35C), we'd have to re-buy summer/winter clothes every year. The rule then, is not wearing it through consecutive same seasons, i.e. over a year.
Michelle's ornaments are dust collectors, I can't stand heaps of ornaments. Lovely lady though, and God bless the other couple with the loss of their son.
I'm so happy, that couple found a reason to keep going, despite losing their son tragically. I'm aware this was filmed a few years ago as I think I saw this episode before, but my sincere condolences ❤ and well done for keep going to raise money to help his kids and the mother in the states❤
This place is NOTHING compared to the Hoarders episodes here in America 🤯 here people will legit have piles of trash from floor to ceiling with tunnel pathways, toilets and tubs filled with years old excrement, and fridges that are full of rotten food but have not been opened in years like a tomb.
Those crystal bottles, are not only good to be used for perfume but also, Roman Catholics can useém to keep Blessed Water up at home Altars, or near by the Bible. Blessed Oil too!
Don and Jacki, sell everything. You say your grandchildren are your main focus. Sell up, move to the grandchildren. You support the mother by minding the grandchildren. Take them to school etc. same situation as you and that’s what we did and love it.
We should all play a game. Video our homes and post on the comments. Then we discuss where we all are on the dirty-clean spectrum. Can even keep curtains closed to avoid giving location away to locals who watch.
Don was to put away, lot of piles. Heartbroken loss, they´s son💔🙏. Michelle was a hoarder of clothes. Work what she was did, big part of life and huge clothe collection.
I feel sorry for the couple who lost their son, but it shows how important it is to have Term Life Insurance, especially when you have three children under age six. If he was about 30 years old, that rate is low, but so worth it, if needed.
Curtis with the hands man. The dude is constantly holding and rubbing his hands. Whether it be a nervous mannerism or just one of his favorite things to do, it’s very strange to me lol.
Well done to the lady clearing out all of her clothing hoard. Next, she really needs to get Duke's nails trimmed. They're so long they are curling under. Poor dog. His teeth need a good clean too.
120 for those consoles / games? That dude is laughing behind Curtis his back. Also that amount for David Bowie singles? Sure this dude does this for a living? 😂
Oh! The sewing machine could be traced to find it's history. Singer, for example, is happy to give you anything they know based on the serial number. I vaguely recall other manufacturers do the same, so it's worth it a try. Some places like Seattle have a very interesting tie between sewing machines and prostitution!
@@johanbruijnooge Oh how funny. It's clear you have never done a cleaning job. You would know that wearing white is the worst you can wear when cleaning.
@Patty De Franco I have been working for 10 years as a cleaner in a general practice, a pub, offices and homes (6 days a week) so I know what to wear while working.
Hoarders must be confronted with an intervention. Hoarding and living in utter stinking filth is a crime against oneself. It deserves no punishment but a great deal of understanding and patience from people of the community. It's an overwhelming illness.. Help compulsive hoarders heal themselves.
When I have something that I really love, than can they offer me money what they want, but I keep it. No way that I give something that I love away for some money.
God I hate when people pronounce it "everythink", I've watched most of these, and literally every show someone manages to say "everythink"... ffs its "EVERY T H I N G"!
Why would you want to have three different jobs going on at the same time. It’s like trying to read three children’s stories at the same time. So confusing.
I don't know, of all the things you want to get rid of/sell, why would your precious records be one of them? Why not toss all the other junk and make a beautiful little listening room out of his favorite collection? Those producers must make a fortune on that show, can't they just offer to fix the record player arm for the 60 quid they said it would cost?! I guess I should watch to the end before I comment though....
I don’t get how they are helping these people get the hoards out of the house? 🤷🏻♀️ I agree the hoarders should do the a lot of the work but they are not getting help to overcome this
@@deniseroe5891,The only thing I have in my basement is my washer and dryer, and I just cleaned out every drawer, closet, cabinet, gave it to Goodwill, hope to be moving soon and having less makes it so much easier.
I would not let Curtis any where near them bowie records he has no clue
That's what I thought too. He's a shocker.
Omg. Yes keep him away from amazing David Bowie singles book
The people, are getting ripped off.
I think he's a thief,
Curtis has been mis-valuing things for 25 years. He should be a cashier or sandwich maker.

I love these British shows!! We have some filthy hoarders in America too, so no judgement here. 😆
I feel like the British ones are kinder, you know?
And here in Greece
@@susan7309 I agree and they cover months of work, not a 4-5day rush.

I am astounded by how low the items go for over there. In USA those games and consoles would be more like $200.00
Nice show, kind people, no drama ♥️

Someone should make a horror movie about hoarders.

Perhaps she doesn't want to show her knickers.
