These are our GoPro settings, and I’ll add another comment with our editing settings as well. Of course! Our videos are shot on the GoPro Hero 10, typically with the camera mounted on the chin bar of our helmets. The ProTune settings are as follows: - Resolution: 4K - Frame Rate: 30FPS - Hypersmooth: Boost - Bit Rate: High - Shutter: Auto - EV Comp: -1.0 - White Balance: Native - ISO Min: 100 - ISO Max: 1600 - Sharpness: Low - Colour: Flat - Raw Audio: Off - Wind: Off (would highly recommend an external form of wind cancellation) With all of this being said the image comes directly out of camera extremely flat with very little contrast and a colour temperature which would not make it ideal to upload straight to TH-cam. We use DaVinci Resolve to colour correct all of our footage after the fact to make sure we maintain the shadows and highlights the best we can as well as correct the contrast, sharpness and colour saturation.
All of our videos are edited in DaVinci Resolve, so with that being said, the LUT applied is a built in LUT called Rec709 Fujifilm 3513DI D65. In order to properly use this LUT you need to apply a CST (colour space transform) before to convert the colour space from Rec709 Gamma 2.4 to DaVinci Wide Gamut with a Cineon Film Log Gamma. Then vice versa after the LUT to convert back to Rec709. I also adjust the baseline colour prior, to adjust the white balance, exposure, saturation and contrast.
@@CoastTimesMTB No my friend, I'm from Brazil, and I love watching videos in the style that you posted, who knows, maybe one day I'll have the opportunity to ride there with you

That’s perfect! Fromme is our usual go to as well, and Burnaby Mountain for quick laps especially after work or when the weather isn’t great. Burke has some great trails, but that climb is a bit of a deterrent haha.
Nice!! You’ll love riding 🤙🏻 James is riding a 2019 Specialized Stumpjumper Evo, and I (Jared) am riding a 2014 Specialized Enduro Evo (although there may be a new bike video coming out in the next few weeks) Nothing wrong with riding something entry level or even older for that matter. My Enduro Evo has treated me quite well and has been very reliable! Which bike did you end up getting?

Glad to hear there is some interest in that! We will look into making a video going over the camera settings and our editing/colour correcting process.
It all depends on what you consider “breaking the bank”. We are in Canada so I’ll give some models in Canadian dollars. There are a handful of new bikes that are well spec’d in the 3000-3500CAD range. - Specialized Status 140 or status 160 - Commencal Meta TR 29 - YT Capra Core 2 Your best bet when starting out is probably to buy a lightly used bike that is 2-3 years old. Similar to a car, bikes typically depreciate in value significantly in the first year. If you check PinkBike or FB Marketplace I see lots of bikes in the 1500-2000 dollar range. There is obviously some risk involved in buying a used bike. IE potential for cracked frames or items that need servicing/replacement. If you know somebody that has an aptitude for fixing bikes it would be best to take them along to see any used bikes you are interested in.
I like the colors, the sounds of the tires rolling on the ground, the surrounding environment, excellent video! 21k 🔥
Thanks so much! Glad you enjoyed the video!!
