This one is well named - it really does have the feel of a camper/RV on the water IMO. I always enjoy the smaller vessel videos myself, just to see how efficient the manufacturer has been in maximizing the limited space. With 3 berths (2 cabins), one head, dinette, galley, and cockpit, I'd say they did pretty darn well. The range seems a bit low compared to what we're used to seeing of course, but for a leisurely river cruiser, the speed and distance will be understandably much lower than coastal cruising. For under 200k, this one does seem like a great option for small families wanting an option for weekenders, etc. As always, I really love the variety of craft on this channel.
i kind of like the reviews of these cheaper yachts more than the mega 10M+ yachts. These sometimes have very innovative features, are practical and basically have what you need.
Although coastal and open sea is great, there's something very appealing about inland waterway cruising. This is a lovely little boat for that, just right for a couple to take off across northern Europe.
I love what Balt Yacht is doing, really grabbing that lower cost segment by the scruff of the neck and innovating to still offer excellent experiences. A boat like this will do well anywhere coastal/freshwater.
I was thinking the same thing. If they made a model that you could drop the small rear cabin and turn the space into laundry/storage id be all over this.
Within the video can now be found all of the out-takes. Brilliant. This is a wonderful vessel for just starting out or for a small family that wants to do some cruising. Many thanks!! 🍷
Interesting idea, but I'd want solar panels in more areas, enough to charge the large bats to some degree. Second thing I noticed is no rubber seal on the mirrored access door to the electronics from the bathroom. I see that as a possible ingress of moisture. Great video as always, thanks.
First few seconds… perfect for the Norfolk broads. Then… electric wouldn’t work there. Then… power options and charges from shore power! Great package and great tour 👏🏼👏🏼
Hi Nick, Indeed this is a very intresting yacht from Balt Yachts this Suncamper 31 with that cozy cockpit and the open salon and galley with the big windows all a round a double aft cabine very nice and spaciious and in the bow a other double and single bed with a wet head great I am imprest by this yacht. End this one have a electric engine super nice for the Dutch canals and lakes Thanks Nick what a show ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I think that is a great little boat, looks nice from the outside and onboard is really nice with good finishes and I think the helm looks good too. Electric seems a good way to go for river / lake cruising especially as it can recharge from normal power supply. Great tour Nick thank you.
A super little craft for our waterways. It might be a little too big for some of our canals, though. Especially for some of the tunnels. If it isn’t, then she would be perfect. 👌 Yet again, another superb and comprehensive tour. Cheers, Nick. 👍
Very nice vessel. I can see adding a generator,a couple more solar panels and their batteries, to increase range, and have electric cooking. Putting about rivers and lakes for 'The Great Loop', and fishing for dinner while enjoying endlessly changing scenery.
This is really nice boat. Great for couples or small families for a weekend getaway. I would like a small diesel generator for backup. Otherwise it would be absolutely perfect for the intercostal waterways here in North Carolina where I live. Great review Nick. Thanks.
It's no Gulf Craft Majesty 175 that's for sure but Mr Burnham sir people all around the world spend weeks and weeks travelling around in a campervan or tow around a caravan touring the roads systems, this is no difference for river systems and very well done, with a total of 5 births available which you only tend to get 4 on the road equivalent I think this is a good little package. I think holiday companies like Hoeseasons offering canal holidays with their narrow boats and their bigger modern camel boats should look into this one to offer a budget alternative 🤔 as always thank you Nick all the best from Cornwall 🤗🖖✌️
This is a VERY WELL designed boat, maximum use of space! A great short trip or weekender vessel! Decent price for the technology. A bonus design would have panels that could charge the engine batteries as well so they can charge if you're moored off shore.
There is not enough surface area for solar panels to provide any meaningful amount of charge, the idea is to keep all domestic system power requirements away from the propulsion batteries
How cool is that if you had a home on the broads just tie it up at bottom of garden then when weather nice jump in and pop down the pub or restaurant I like this a lot
Nick its a fab little river/canal/lake boat for the price. Lightweight hull materials too, minimum maintenance and its not trying to be something its not. 👍
Hi Nick, you know I try to be as honest as I can be in my comments. This is not for me, as you know in the Highlands this thing is next to useless, for freshwater I used Loch Ness a lot and it can be like the North sea at times. This wouldn't cope. Great video as always though pal. Hope the sniffles get better soon.😊🏴
Balt Yacht have built nearly 20,000 boats since the company was formed in 1992, there are well over a hundred SunCamper 35s on the water used by leisure and commercial owners. Not to mention all the other brands that Balt Yacht build under license. Is that enough experience 😉
Great tour as always. Nice little river & lake cruiser. I don't remember hearing where the infill cushions in the rear cabin went, but I assume the dinette table is the place for them 😉 Any cheaper and it would be in my price range 👍
Hello from Canary Islands. I think that this boat is perfect for daily rent (about 8 hours), it have good battery duration, no gasoline or diesel extra cost, with a good habitablility on a litle boat (9,4 meters). I want one. 😁
Lovely boat..... however I've noticed something.... If there's a couple in the front cabin who like privacy at night and a couple in the aft cabin... how is the aft cabin couple suppose to use the head??? Also I'd have made the dining area into a U shape seating to make watching the TV easier for 4 people.... Still a lovely boat though and I'd definitely look at one of these for just me
A French canal, a lump of cheese, and a bottle of wine? Ok, I'm in. Interesting to see the more unusual and affordable boats here. Unfortunately, not for me, my boat has to get from Lymington to France for the wine, my wife would love it.
Not so much in Europe but that opening in the front would be perfect in Australia because you could pull right up onto a beach and hop straight out onto the sand

But more choices is better than less and if this gets people enjoying the water then its a nice boat!

electric propulsion makes absolute sense on this type of craft. very cool.
Electric propulsion is very well suited to inland waterways, there have been electric boats on the river that for well over 100 years

What a great little boat. A caravan on the water. Nick, did you have a cold when you recorded this or the mic was covered?
The water vapour from the shower will 100% be ruining those electronics after a few years

Lovely boat. Note you didn't tell us what the cushions, the ones stashed in the aft cabin, were for.
Good afternoon nick
Good afternoon Big J!
That shower design seems like a bad idea: to have the panel to all those electronic wires / electrical wiring be IN the shower? LOL what?
At least have some beefier rubber gaskets around that hatch.

Hey Nick what are the engine options as far as size/power
Petrol outboard 50-115hp, diesel inboard 30hp
