- Hi! My name is Angela and I am travelling all over Europe this summer. In this vlog, I take you along with me as I travel to Amsterdam where I met up with my friend Kelly. I explored so many of the most popular attractions, and ate incredible food from famous restaurants like Winkel 43, Van Wonderen Stroopwafels, Van Stapele Cookies, Mannekin Pis Fries, and the Seafood Bar. The Netherlands is a heavily populated nation that was partially submerged by the water and has around 50% of its land below sea level. Most visitors to the Netherlands simply come to see Amsterdam. Holland, however, has a lot to offer outside of its city. With its network of canals, the country's flat terrain is ideal for cycling and is dotted with charming old towns and traditional windmills. The flower gardens transform into popular tourist destinations in the spring, offering a striking display of vibrant colors.

Is this your first trip where you were solo travelling? Do you have any advice for first time female solo travellers? I want to plan a trip but I’m really nervous. I haven’t done much travelling, much less by myself.
Hey Lexy! Yes, this summer was my first time travelling solo. My advice is just to push yourself outside your comfort zone and just do it! But also, make sure that you are being aware of your surroundings especially as a female solo traveller. I actually have a video coming out very soon all about my experience solo travelling, so stay tuned for that!

Hi! For Amsterdam specifically, I was only there for 2 days so I spent maybe $300 in total including transportation and accommodation? Hope this helps! Have a great trip :)

Hey John! They were not strict at all about covid status, I don’t think they ever checked my vaccine passport or asked for covid tests or even required masks there.
