I have followed you for a long time, and always enjoyed your work but, for me, this video has to be your best; entertaining, so professional, informative, humorous, and not a single OTT moment. I didn't want it to end. Thank you so much to my favourite TH-cam couple!!
Already missed Brussels. It's one of my most favorite places ever visited. LOVE is the word I can use to describe how I feel about this city. Love the architecture, love the chocolate, love the mussels, love the waffles, love the fries, love the beer... of course LOVE Tintin (I am also a big fan and I stayed two hours in Tintin Shop just to decide what I should get in the sea of Tintin souvenirs lol). If you are a big fan of Tinin and comics, highly recommend Belgian Centre for Comic Strip Art, huge collection of Tintin and Smurf there.
you loved also the dirty streets, the dangerous ones included? The poverty that you don't see in the touristic center? The dirty and unsafe metro/trainstations ridden with intense urine smell?
Ce que je déteste le plus ce sont des provinciaux dans ton genre qui ne connaissent de Bruxelles que par ses gares et qui fréquentent des boites pour paysans
Thank you for this wonderful video. Beautiful Brussel. Belgian waffle, Belgian chocolate, yummy, what else could be better than that. What a uxurious chocolate experience.
For me, for the time being, I can only afford Belgian Godiva, Cote Dor and Guylian, those are affordable, yet taste so delicious. Pralines are my favorite.
There are many chocolatiers in Brussels. Neuhaus, Wittamer, Godiva, Leonidas, Pierre Marcolini , Laurent Gerbaud and many others. We often buy from Leonidas, they are not as fancy as the others and you can find them in many places around the world but they are cheaper and still very good if you want the classics. As for day to day chocolate, we go for Côte d'or but the granulés from Jacques are also quite nice.
You guys are amazing! These videos are such high quality! The editing, the presenting, the content...all absolutely fabulous! Thank you both so much for a great series x
I made the mistake(?) of getting absolutely wrecked on Delerium Alley my last night in Belgium. The ensuing flight was an absolute nightmare. Still? Totally worth it! Highly recommend... in moderation (maybe next time?). Keep up the fun.
Would advise to take frites from patatak, just the other side of the bourse building. With home made frikadel and sauces ( like basilic mango, or appel curry).
Guys, I'm from Brussels, living in Brussels and I have to say, you guys did a very good job to present my home. Thank you for that, it is very appreciated. Don't hesitate to come back, I can recommand you some things to do next time if you want :)

It's amazing to see how far you two have gone from exploring Chang Mai on a back-packers budget, to traveling Europe, while still on a somewhat budget. However, I've always wondered, what would have been your next country to visit if you hadn't had the opportunity to purchace the van while you were in Korea?

For French Fries, you get to go to Place Antoine. Besides chocolate varieties, you forget the nougats, and of course for the beers - too many to name them. I remember they serve beer at lunch cafeteria at the University of Liege when I was student over there ( 1968-1973 ) half a century ago. I love Brussels. BTW eat the mussels instead of the pizza. Unfortunately it’s only for U.K. bank card holders currently!!
Belgians would have ordered fries drenched in 'stoofvleessaus' i think its translated to 'stewingmeatsauce' or sum . Drenched means like almost more sauce then fries. It is the best i know a lot of belgians that are proud of this meal
Oh interesting!! Thank you for the info 😍
Cactus beer sounds healthy. Nopal beer.
