Gracias por este video!! Nunca tuve tantas ganas de conocer Amsterdam, pero ahora muero por conocerlo y que sea un viaje que pueda hacer con mi hija, los paisajes son preciosos y ustedes lucen geniales!
wow what amazing trip to Amsterdam, that park with all the flowers were so nice, the colors came through on your camera really nice and pretty, so I can imagine it smelled very nice too. I loved that boat ride, when I visited Amsterdam we rode that boat it was so quiet I had to fight to stay awake so I wouldn't miss anything lol. Plus the food was so fresh and good there too. one day I plan to go back. Thanks for the memories. 🌎🍲🌷🌼🌺🌹⛴
Good to see that you guys are enjoying the herring - most visitors to our country are not really a fan (To put it mildly) ;-) The small cars used to be for people having mobility issues only, and required a permit to use them. Though nowadays there are a few models that have been specifically built to skew the rules and are used by locals trying to avoid parking fees and such.
Keukonhof is so beautiful. The tulips are like a play of colours on a palette 🙂we loved your vlog. The gelato place is also a place worth visiting. We would like to visit there very soon🙂
I visited the Keukenhof Gardens 35 years ago....in the drizzle! I think the colors are more vibrant against a gray sky. When I was there it was Queen Beatrix's celebration and people celebrated by holding yard sales! I loved that aspect of Dutch frugality and practicality as a way of acknowledging the monarchy. Is that still the way the day is celebrated?
Yes! apparently that is still the common way to celebrate! Such a fascinating tradition! We think the US should have a tradition like that for forth of July haha.
We just bought the same Keukenhof bundle as we will be there next Spring. What week were you there? Curious about timing of the blooms and average temperature/weather that time of year.
I know in Portugal--so possibly in all of Europe? or just certain countries?-- those little cars are in a different category and younger teens can drive them, etc as you don't need a drivers license for them. Maybe they are classified like bikes, so they can use the bike paths? I found it curious because the one pointed out to me was driving on the road with other traffic but you don't need a drivers license? Will have to look up more about....had kind of forgotten til you brought it up in this video. Great video!
11:39 Amsterdam is famous for there pickles. The history of Kesbeke goes back to 1948, when Charles Kesbeke started his pickled products business in a basement on Waterloo Square. Here, he washed, pickled and pasteurised the first gherkins and onions. The Amsterdam citizens loved them and still do to this day. By now, the third generation of Kesbekes is heading the business: Oos.
I never knew about Kuekenhof, adding it to my bucket list. Can you guys tell me what's the name of the song at 3:00 if possible. Love your vidoes, keep up the great job! 🌞🌴
The Dutch Republic had more merchant ships sailing Europe than the rest of Europe combined, that frequent bulk trade made the Dutch Republic rich, the spice trade was peanuts. The small cars are often driven by people unlucky enough not to be able to ride a bike. They are legally classified as a moped to keep those people mobile, it is taken advantage of by healthy people though.
0:45: ..a 300 years old building....: definitely not! This building was built in 1887. The rooftrusses are typical 19th-century trusses, called Philibert trusses.

Thank you so much ChadandClaire
You are so welcome! Thanks for watching!
thank you for sharing😃
Thanks for watching!
Beautiful city but also a reminder of dark times in history, Anne Frank. A tragic but also an inspiring story.
2:22: ...Keukenhof botanical garden....: the Keukenhof is a flowerpark, but not a botanical garden!

Woah that's so interesting! Thanks for sharing about the small cars! Totally makes sense for people with mobility issues!
Good luck !. 🙏🤞 !.
Great video but be aware that flying a drone in Amsterdam is illegal. The whole city is a no-fly zone unless you have a permit.
Go to the Efteling !! an amusement park and recreation complex in Kaatsheuvel, a village in the Dutch province of North Brabant.❤🧚🧚♂🧚♀🌻
Woah!! That sounds extremely cool! We will have to visit next time!
@@ChadandClaire Actually Walt Disney based his theme park on the Efteling!
Hallo guys.. i follow you..❤
the little cars u can drive with a scooter license instead of a driverslicense
Chad, are you related to Jim Carrey?
