What I love about you is how you can tell how much you love life for the experience than for anything that you could hold in your hand including food. Example you were so excited talking about your journey to obtain a food or stumbling upon something. Then you taste it and are like. Okay. Let’s move on. So nice you are doing the same in reverse…discovering new destinations…Glad to see you have experienced Amsterdam the way you do. Actually the reason the buildings are so narrow was because of the reason in the 17th century the merchants had to pay taxes according to the width of the houses so this is why they have built these houses as narrow as possible.

Hi there. I'm a big fan of your style of content. American here and I was inspired to visit Kenya after watching your videos. I visited for 3 weeks back in June and of course started a channel to blog about my adventures. Are you back in Kenya? I'd love to meet up now that I'm back in Kenya. Perhaps do a Q&A with you. Let me know your thoughts.
Pro tip when you are on a budget. Go to an Albert Heijn store. Its the largest supermarket chain in the country and youll find everything there for cheap. I mean, locals have to eat too and thats where they do their groceries. This is also a great place to get your authentic Dutch cheese. Dutch love their cheese and obviously they are just going to get it at the supermarket. Most have a great variety and a lot cheeper than the tourist oriented specialty shops in the centre. At train stations they often have a "To Go" variety of the Albert Heijnstore with an offering more ready-made for traveling but itsa bit more expensive, but still great if you quickly need a sandwich or a drink.

Visit: Van Gogh Museum, Rijk Museum, Wallen at night, Vollendam, Flea Market, Royal Pallace, Monnickendam, etc.
More to-dos: smoke weed, eat at one of the Rijstafels, eat chinese food e.g. at oriental city, take the canal tour, etc.

Most tourists waste their time on attractions that cost money, while they completely miss that Amsterdam is one of the most beautiful cities in the world. - The best of Amsterdam is the architecture, over 9000 buildings worth some time to look at, and they are mostly right next to each other. Forget "attractions", especially the ones that require a ticket, as these are usually not very interesting. And avoid areas such as the red light district and shopping streets, as they are crowded and not interesting. Walk along the main canals: Singel, Herengracht, Keizersgracht, Leidsegracht and Reguliersgracht. - If you really want to see a museum, then pick Rijksmuseum, forget about the rest. Do study Amsterdam architecture from 1610 to 1660 when most of the center was build, and history before visiting

That rental bike, you can only get that with a public transport card and that you can only get when you are a resident. Once you have that, you can remt 2 bikes at a time. Tourist's can't get one of these
