That’s a great looking truck and the 7.3 is a great engine. Not overdone but adds to the look. If it’s in your budget, I definitely recommend addressing all the rust to ensure that truck lasts a good while longer.
I've got the 2001 Original Platinum Edition Ford Super Duty with the 7.3 4x4.
A great mod to extend the engine life and help it run smoother and quieter is the RiffRaff FRX fuel crossover and the High pressure oil crossover.
I've had my truck for 22 years and I wouldn't trade it for anything.

You're in my shoes, I got a 2005 6.0 Power Stroke that is completely stock from tip to tail, it was stolen and beat tup, but still has under 100K on it, I was going to mod it up a "bit" but other than some engine upgrades and a aftermarket exhaust (it has one now) I am going to preserve it the way it left the factory, I'd say 90% stock is what I am after, great video, love to see a clean low milage Super Duty keeping it real

That is a really sharp truck for being 22 years old! I Like it. Mine is a 2018 gas 6.2.

Beautiful truck. You may have a lift. The f350s with the straight axle ride a little stiffer and sit a little higher than the F250s. I once owned an f350 4x4 dually cab and chasis that came stock with an ever taller lift. I have 96 f350 7.3 obs

Looks like a Summit exhaust system . Nice Rig !! I have a 01 also . Ive had it for 15 yrs and would never sell !! The Lariat leather seats are junk Ive had covers on mine for the a while now . Found your channel while looking for info after picking up my 02 C5 Blk on Blk 6spd Thanks for the upgrade info on that !!
It’s stock. Highly recommend intake and exhaust. Did it on mine and it really woke it up. More power and better mileage. I also added a chip later and that made a big difference as well but if you want to keep the motor original intake and exhaust will do that and help

4” exhaust looks like. Stock is 3.5” exhaust and the muffler is HUGE! A caution for you is that S&B intakes are THE BEST, however, it will make the inherent turbo surge of these stock turbos MUCH more noticeable and you’ll have to do a KC balanced assembly inside the turbo to cure the turbo surge.

Best platform to stuff all the boost through
I've got an 02 F250 ccsb lariat 4x4 with the 7.3 (charcoal gray and black two-tone) as my tow pig. Not the quickest truck by any means, but with a hydra tuner, intake and exhaust, she wakes up. Best thing about it, I've put nearly 180,000 miles on the truck in my 12 years of owning it, with literally just replacing regular maintenance items. Recommend checking out RiffRaff Diesel, clay is a 7.3 parts guru, high quality aftermarket and OEM only.
I own the same truck. It’s stock but feels tuned up compared to my late 99.
Are there any chips in the PVD coating on your rims? I just learned that the coating isn't chrome and just wears off after a few years even if you don't damage them. Man I hate the EPA banning chrome plating.
HOLY RUST
I have a 99 MRP 5 inch turbo back exhaust is perfect. I have a set of four force diesel injectors and a KC turbo and hydra chip It’s absolutely amazing night and day difference and perfect for Towing.
What kind of injectors did you get?

Another excellent mod set is a banks power pack. Mr Gale Banks and engineers really made a well built system. Will take a 7.3 and safely and reliably wake it up and turn it into a completely different truck. He has a catalog on what he saw as engineering shortcomings of the truck. Check it out!
Try some Fluidfilm before it's too late.
Big mirrors are 150 for both on Amazon
Go under there with a wire brush and a air gun and clean some of the surface rust off then get used motor oil with Diesel fuel 50/50 and spray the underside or use lots of fluid film
SSBC break system 1300 for 1 set so like 2600 for the front and back.
Nice looking rig. That’s a stock exhaust. Don’t waste your money buying a cold air intake system as it doesn’t do a damn thing and it doesn’t matter what brand you buy. Five actual upgrades that are truly beneficial are: 1. Gauge set that at the very least shows your EGT. 2. Upgrade to a Mishimoto transmission cooler ( about 3 times larger than stock). 3. Fuel tank sump (you won’t run out fuel when you are below a 1/4 tank and you bypass the 2 small useless fuel screens that clog and you will need to drop the tank to replace or clean). 4. Add an additional quality fuel filter with water separator and mount it on the frame. 5. Purchase a larger heat sinc style transmission pan and rear differential cover. I have over 500,000 miles on my 2002 F250 PS and going strong. One interior mod you would like is pulling your front middle seat and installing a 2011-2016 center console. It’s a game changer.

Truck looks bad ass but get some Fluid Film or Surface Shield on the underside before it starts lookin like swiss cheese. Also It will make for some good content.

honestly, I feel like I'd rather have a cleaner body and frame rather than more mileage than that truck, seems like it's always easier for me to address mechanical issues on older pickups than it is to do like extensive bodywork.
True! also trying to get cab corners to match the level of the rockers etc and the paint sucks to match (specifically metallic colors)
Definitely better to get a clean high mileage 7.3 than this rusted pile of junk.
@@jamiepippin3892 so true! Mine has 200k miles (which isn’t that bad), but it’s an Arkansas truck with zero rust, and looks like new on the inside when cleaned up!

That is horrible rust truck here in Maryland there no rust at all 😂 AND ALSO I CAN DELTED AND TUNE THEM LOL there no car inspection here lol :) I love this truck 7.3 and 6.0 are awesome
Rhino line or lined your truck that way you never need to wash it and it always looks great. Best part resale value is higher. People who don’t like it say it hurts resale value but you know what’s worse? Your whole damn truck rusted and scratched to hell. I’ve sold three trucks with it and I had people who loved it and payed the premiu i was asking. haters just be hating. thats their job.

295 is not a 35 a 325 is a 35
That number has nothing to do with the height technically, that is the width of the tire in MM, and 295/65r20 is in fact 35s
Better be careful with that engine. It might blow up if you hit it only a little throttle. Should have bought a duramax
