Actually the cost depend on it quailty, u forgot to mention this. I got one from m7 with stat boost 50% and maxed it. The machine gun shortbow from for example entrace or f1 have a huge difference to one from f7 or even m7. Low floor bow will have smth lik 120 damage while m7 bow can have up to 290 damage, its more than twice a difference.

Let me break this down: (outside of dungeons) Spirit bow does around 175k dmg with a 0.8s cooldown making its dps around 210k dmg Machine gun bow does around 90k dmg with a 0.5s cooldown making its dps around 180k dmg Dps differance is 30k (inside of dungeons) Spirit bow does around 5.5m dmg with a 0.8s cooldown making its dps around 6.6m Machine gun bow does around 2.6m dmg with a 0.5s cooldown making its dps around 5.2m Dps differance is 1.4m So spirit bow still outdamages the machinegun bow but cost efficiently machine gun bow is still a very good alternative costing 1000x less expensive (avg spirit bow cost is 5m coins and machinegun bow costs around 5k coins)
@@pikipoki1801 the cooldowns also decrease because of the attack speed stat but we cant make any statements on dps with extra attack speed because everyone has diffrent amounts of attack speed

I did a look at everything the wiki has stated for the machine gun bow stats and mob drops and unless you got a mastermode dropped 50/50 the sprit bow will have better base stats let alone reforges but you definitely have more potential with the machine gun bow later on remember your basicly expected to have a juju by f7, and mob drop quality adds requirements so unless you can't use the 2 enderman slayer bows spirit bow is going to be better damage but not when your really late into the game
what mod do you use to show the secrets in the dungeon? ive been looking for one but I dont want to get ratted by installing random mods would be nice to know one that I am 100% safe installing
@@SomeCowguy Glacial scythe clears a lot faster and is more accurate, and Midas staff deals more than a hype. Yeti swords arnt worth the hassle tho tbh lol

I got mine from m7 and with 50% boost , recomb and fumings its 290 damage, more than spirit bow

As of the dungeons update, dragon shortbow is dungeonisable which makes it a viable option
I would really like to see the machine gun bow to have a super short cooldoen so its almost like a budget term for clearing at how fast it shoots.
Its too easy to get for it to be a budget term. It is literally the 1st viable weapon you would come across for an archer in dungeons.
terror armour makes all shortbows a budget term

in dng coodown on bows is lower. 0.5 for spirit and 0.3 for machine gun
