Love the topic thanks guys😍🎁 I had to stop using "but" with my apologies 😂 and realize that an apology doesn't depend/or matter who's right or wrong.

Feel like the healthy aspects of apologizing were explored very well. There are unhealthy aspects as well such as wanting revenge instead of an apology, wanting someone to suffer or hurt like you. Also, the negative/ abusive things that can happen during an apology such as piling on other issues, or asking people to apologize for things they didn't really do.❤

These specifics of Forgiveness are much needed tools for enlightenment and clarification and for a better relationship and/or an understanding of the partner you’re with.
Thank you for sharing and helping us to better understand and have these tools and boundaries to “show people how to treat us” they way we want and deserve to be treated.

Definitely in the acknowledging your wrongdoings without excuses. Don't even need a sorry. But it has to be genuine. 3:06 Accepting responsibility 7:41 Change in behavior too like Josh 😂

I will say my reasons for needing the type of apology is different than you guys talked about, but my #1 was planned change #2 request forgiveness #3 express regret and it’s very accurate!

    My Apology language: Accept responsibility.
In my previous relationship, When I would apologize and in detail say what I’m apologizing for and acknowledge how he felt/how I made him feel, he didn’t believe my apology was sincere.

Not hating on you at all, You my Bday Twin, and I see myself in you, and that stings alil!!!... Talking to myself as much as I am taking you you!! .. Love you Isi!!

Okay these kind of clash because I don’t like making restitution in the sense that I don’t like being asked “what can I do to make it better” but I do want to hear that you plan on changing your ways so the mistake won’t happen again
