Thanks W211 KING we're glad you liked it. W211 King, you can carry your hunting firearm in your car, in a secure case with the magazine out of the case. Similar to when you are going to the range. When out hunting we keep the ammo in our pockets just in case 😉
I took a class back in 2013 and my parents kept my card because they said I’ll loose it since I was young, 11 years later they have lost my card and I have to get a replacement, I believe this is one of the things u can show to buy a gun? Hopefully I am able to purchase a handgun and shotgun this year

DFW should have it updated in www.ca.wildlifelicense.com Under "Hunter Education" Here is the message I have seen without passed. "This profile does not have evidence of Hunter Education on file and will NOT be able to purchase Hunting items. If you successfully passed the online California Hunter Safety Course, your hunter education certificate number will be automatically uploaded to your profile within 48 hours of completing the online course. Please contact us at LRB@wildlife.ca.gov if your hunter education certificate number has not been uploaded to your profile within 48 hours of completing the online course. Alternatively, you can provide your proof of hunter education to an authorized CDFW license agent, and they can add it to your customer profile. Once Hunter Education has been entered, hunting items may be purchased."
I think over all it is 12 hours. I took mine over several days, about an hour or two a day. You don't need to sit in one long session for the online class.
@@SocalOutdoorAdventures what had happen was I guess I had to accounts so the hunters education uploaded to my other account. I just called and they deleted my other account for me. My hunters education was under that GO ID

So I just finished my hunters education course as an 19 year old trying to purchase a long rifle, how do I purchase my hunting license? and is there any specific licenses for other types of guns?

Can you carry your “hunting firearm” in your vehicle to go around town (not open carry) or is it strictly for hunting

If you took hunter ed in 2013, you are in their system. You can look up your GO ID using your SSN.
