My built-in Realtek(R) microphone only started working again when I used the Run services.msc method. Even though it was already selected as 'Automatic', I selected Disable then Automatic. I am glad to see a few different suggested methods in this video. My problem occurred shortly after a Windows update AND a MS Office update.

In the audio manager you have the option to choose the output device. Search for output device in the settings menu for windows 11 And in control panel for windows 10

Provide me the name of your Realtek device. Secondly, if it’s not in Realtek, better to search with the manufacturer If you have a Lenovo laptop, then google Realtek driver for Lenovo (model) and open Lenovo website to download the driver
2 options you have : 1) use msi default recovery in your system to install 2) install latest drivers directly from msi website here www.msi.com/Laptop/Bravo-15-B5DX/support?sub_product=Bravo-15-B5DD#driver
Can you update high definition audios controller first or the other one? Because I updated the other one first then when I tried my mic it went on and off and on and off again, saying that I plugged and unplugged it but I didn't.

That sounds strange, try installing them and this time after one restart check in device manger for any exclamatory mark in the drivers

The last option removed all audio from my device what should i do?
Either update windows (it will auto install) as proceed as shown
