What's the deal with Remilia's ability? - Touhou Theory

- A video a bit different from my usual content, this time im tackling a topic that doesn't really have a solid anwser and so this is theory zone, not everything i say in this video is 100% canon, be weary.

I always thought it implied just to happen automatically, like being exceptionally lucky. As an example: Domino from X-Men's power is luck, but they call its fate manipulation, or probability manipulation or all sorts of other things because it sounds more technical and Science fiction.
This would also explain her getting ahold of outside world objects just because she wants them and manages to get such a group of oddball friends/employees who don't seem like they'd ever meet up by chance, let alone click with each other without a smol charismatic vampire.
I think that explanation is very simple - its just a Jojo reference. Im serious.
EoSD cast is notorious for its amount of references to jojo, from Rumias orb of darkness being very similar to vanilla ice, to more obvious like Sakuya.
Remilia is obviously heavily tied to Diavolo. With her being "Devil", her Scarlet to his Crimson and her being refered as princess/queen to his King. I feel like her ability was just meant to refer his ability "to change fate".
A more in-universe explanation is that she simply can't control. One doujin had interesting idea that Remilia became vampire in such young age that her ability never fully developed. As such she uses it subconciously and can't really decide its outcome.
I mean, if abilities were taken into account, Yukari beats everyone. Yet, door lady is implied to be much more powerful.
And Reimu's ability specifically is to fly. Yet canonically, she's busted strong. The abilities are only a weapon for some, not others. So it's a case by case basis where it's relevant.
I suspect Remilia can use it unconsciously or by instinct because I always imagined Sakuya challenging Remilia before joining her. Even being a vampire, how do you stop someone who can stop time and hit a bullseye from 30 meters with a knife? Even if Remilia had seen the ability before and knows it exists, Sakuya doesn't have to reveal herself before stopping time and surrounding Remilia with daggers. Honestly, in stopped time, Sakuya could just get close and stab Remilia through the heart with a wooden stake. There'd be no risk.
I always imagined Remilia's power was the only thing that'd prevent this kind of scenario. Even Flandre can't combat it without preemptive strike.
Reimu's power is too "float", but she can use it to "float" through life as well.

I feel like Remi's ability might be BS, as big of an EoSD fan I am. Because EoSD is the oldest game that's actually canon, and her fate changing ability has been around for over 2 decades but we haven't seen any straight-up proof, I think it might just not be real. Or alternatively, she might be worried that it violates the spellcard rules. As for Sakuya's ability, I assume she isn't afraid to use it as long as it's a spellcard and she doesn't just stab them while time is frozen. Both of my theories revolve mostly around spellcard rules, and because of how potentially overpowered these abilities can be, it's possible to abuse them in a way that violates these rules (Seeing into the future allegedly and impaling people at will sounds kinda wild, especially considering the wiki said Sakuya can control time with no limits).
