It's neat & all and I sure as h@!! can't create anything remotely comparable, but until they make one that will reliably idle at least around 1000 rpm & have that low hitting thump, it's still just kinda gimmicky.

They do! To get that ‘low hitting thump’ you’re talking about, you simply upscale the engine! In fact, it’s already been done… Just search ‘125cc engine’, it should have that ‘low thump’ you’re expecting!
Honestly, do you really think something so small would sound ‘deep’ and ‘beefy’? It’s tiny…
