I have the 2020 model of this CRV and I swear it's the best decision I've ever made when it comes to choosing a car. Super tipid sa gas, super comfortable to drive and features are amazing.

Hi, would like to ask whats the fuel economy and did you chose diesel engine?
@@matthewong7060 my crv is 1.6 SX Diesel 9 AWD A/T, used to be super economical prior to Russia Ukraine war. Nevertheless, at present, I spend around 3-4k a month for city driving.

Personally, I would definitely choose :
Crossover SUV (e.g. CR-V or Kia Sportage) > PPV / Pickup-based SUV (e.g. Everest, Fortuner, Montero, etc.)

We have a 2018 Honda CR-V V 1.6 Diesel FWD. Feels great to drive on twisty roads when using paddle shifters. Superior engine response, and fuel economy is very good.

Plus it's a "world model". All first world countries have them if I'm not mistaken. Can't say that to pick-up-turned-SUVs. Not really a price to practicality ratio winner though but it is definitely more premium.

I just got my crv yesterday. I feel some minor vibrate in my steering wheel. Is that normal? Lane assist and collision is off btw
CR-V is a very tempting car but I still bought the Innova over this because
* More spacious
* Same durability
* Diesel Engine
* Easy to ride
* Comfort
* Rear-wheel drive
* Cheaper (both initial payment, and repairs)
Don't get me wrong, CR-V is a very eye-catching car but I took substance over style

9:20 known quirk of how the ZF 9HP transmission was made. Because of the dog clutch inside the transmission it acts like it goes to neutral when changing from 4th to 5th, 7th to 8th, vice versa. If you ask me, it's just tech going overboard 😕
Waiting for Honda CRV 2022 review
Honda struck gold with this one. This is a purpose built SUV, not just something built on the bones of a pickup like the others.
Huh? Purpose built na urban cruiser na crossover ba? Iyon mga sinasabi mo ang mga tunay na SUV yung mga pick-up based. Maliban nalang kung hulugang 4x2 model iyan.

I own this car in Indonesia but petrol version. Car is super awesome only weak point is Infotainment system. Sound system could be little better.

I was hoping he would give thoughts on how the car accelerates and the ease of performing overtakes, given its 118hp engine.
Overtaking isn't really a matter of hp but rather torque. This has 300nm of torque that peaks at low rpms, which is high enough to give you the pull needed for a quick overtake.
Newly improved engines soon:
-2.0L i-VTEC gas (now DOHC and 170hp)
-1.6L i-DTEC CRDi (upgraded to 180hp)
-Bring in the top-of-the-line Hybrid (1.5L i-VTEC + elec. motor = 230 PS combined)
You made me look for one here in the US for a 7 seater CRV 😂😂😂 I have the 2019 EX-L currently and I love it driving it! Too bad we don’t have the 7 seater here in the US, we have to upgrade to a Passport if we want that 7 seater

Great car. However, the 6th gen CR-V is coming very soon. Better to just hold off in buying a CR-V right now.
Better yet, wait additional 2 years for the facelift version. Honda always does a 4 year cycle

PPV's are definitely a better choice if you're primarily looking for something that easily accommodates seven passengers, however, the comfort
and ride experience of the CR-V can't be matched.
