Awesome review, thanks for sharing your feedback, as i could remember, the crv was one of my dream crossover, until i had one, and i really enjoyed driving it in the city, can't wait to see the next gen soon 🤔👍
I hope the version of the CR-V we're getting has the twin turbo version of the 1.6 diesel engine. 123 hp is just not good enough to compete with its contemporaries
We get the twin turbo 160 hp version in Thailand. I have one. But the new model will have a 1.5 turbo and / or 2.0 hybrid. The diesel will be discontinued.
This model looks a whole lot better compared to the just newly announced one in america. The instrument cluster is fully digital, panoramic sunroof, wooden interior touches, sequential front turn signal, rear led turn signal, machine cut alloys and the infotainment doesn't look they just stacked it up just for the sake of putting it there
@@KyleLiongCars the only good thing about the all new model is the body proportions but other than that honda seems to regress with the new generation and go with a plain style same with the civic
we all know po that crv are known for cvt gas variant. what can you say po about the diesel variant engine in terms of its reliability /issues. thank you po to your answer
It "seems" the third row of this CR-V is more usable and has a comfortable seating position compared to the Montero and Terra. I have the latter so I can assure you that the CR-V's third row is much better.
@@KyleLiongCars really? that's good to know. I have my eyes on the black series montero but just not sure how the third row fits since the 2nd row doesn't slide and dealership is too far from here to check so I only see videos of it here. I guess it's time to let go of my Terra as 3rd row seats is a big factor for me. Thank you Kyle for this input, appreciate it. Subscribed.
1 Nm = 0.73756 lbft... but if gusto mo malaman saan na derived ang values.. 9.81 m/s^2 convert mo sa english units tsaka 1kg = 2.2 lbs.. hahah sakit sa ulo yang English units. buti pa SI
I find Honda Philippines reason for not bringing in the more powerful engine total bs. They really should have brought in the twin turbo for its price point
@@hannschristopherdelacruz3058 To most Filipinos, mindset natin talaga yan. Basta gasoline SUV, malakas sa gas, mahal maintenance etc. Which is absurd. Since Gasoline engines are so much simpler and easier to fix and maintain as compared to their diesel counterparts. As for fuel economy, since diesel is currently more expensive, and diesel variants command a higher price-tag as compared to Gasoline powered ones, why would you get a diesel variant? I know I wouldn't.
Edit: As of posting, the Honda CR-V SX Diesel 9AT AWD Honda SENSING now retails for PHP 2,238,000.00.
Also woops. Typo on "COMFORTABLE"
They just announced the next gen of the CR-V in the U.S. I have the 2019 version of the CR-V and it’s been really good.
Yep. Can’t wait to try out the upcoming one

Yeah but honestly, 120PS is pretty adequate for daily drives haha
@@KyleLiongCars true. It is even enough to overtake large trucks. Must be the torque.
@@kayesanchez5396 surely the torque :D

compete in what? this is a family car primarily. go elsewhere to get your my-engine's-bigger-than-yours fix 😂
Fifth generation Honda CR V have third row seat 7 seater and diesel sir Kyle in Philippines
7 seats for some trims only. No more diesel
Great review Kyle! ❤️
Thanks for the insights, CR-V is a family car and a city mover.
Thanks
The next gen crv is beautifully made
Yes
Great review!
I could take shots on how many times I heard the word sense(-sible/-sensing). Hahaha
Thanks! You’d be drunk within the first minute haha
Indeed! 😂

Which would you prefer for this CRV- Gas engine w/ CVT or Diesel engine w/ 7s AT?
Haven’t tried the gas
My all time favorite car Cr-v 😇🙏
😍
If you could get your hands on the new Staria, that'd be great! Thanks!
Trying to get a hold of Hyundai :)
Hello sir.. would u know or can you provide info on after sales or pms costing for the honda crv diesel?
Sadly, I don’t have access to that info

Can’t say as I don’t own one :(
Hello can you review the mazda 3 hatchback m hybrid😊
Still waiting on Mazda to have a schedule :)
Honda already brought back the gear lever shifter, push button shifter already removed in a new Crv.
Interesting

I have tested all 3, and the Montero is the best in terms of 3rd row space

Soon
Price of crv?
Wow
I thought CRV is front wheel drive and the rear wheel only kicks in when it detect lost traction ?
Correct

I find it odd too
buti binago na nila ang makina ng srv di katuiad dating model puro mga 2.0 gasoline
Well meron pa rin yung 2.0 na gas and 2.0 diesel (Europe)
@@KyleLiongCars sa pilipinas wala nang nilabas ang crv ngayon na gasoline engine siguro malakas sa gas
Baka. Haven’t tried it. Sayang
@@KyleLiongCars
They still offer the 2022 CR-V with the 2.0 Gasoline engine. At a substantial discount over the top-spec SX diesel.

Huh? What else is there to say?

@@KyleLiongCars yep yep ^^
Honda interior is still old man’s car
I love the wood though
Why would anyone buy this old CRV when the new one is coming already??? Guys do not be fooled
Price maybe? Or special deals?
Doubt so, honda rarely gives discounts
Didn’t they recently just give a big fat discount to the Type R too? Hehe
@@KyleLiongCars REALLY ? Link please, appreciate it
Not sure if it’s still in effect like now, but I mean a year ago or smth they gave the Type R a solid 500K discount I think
I’d rather stick with my 1.5L Turbo Petrol Engine.
Go for it
Mas okay yung nag tagalog ka sa fb.
