You both are the nicest, most lovey people so natural and genuine , and my favourite utuber. When you recommend products / items, I totally trust what you say . Sending lots of love and prayers to you both ❤️
Great that you've decided to rip out the shoddy work of the plasterers. Very difficult to find good tradesmen these days, if you find one keep their number as they're a dying breed. Can't wait to see the finished result. I'm sure it'll be just beautiful. X
Laura, for next time have a look at screwfix new plaster paint...game changer! No need for that messy 50/50 stuff! We've just used it in our extension and it's fab.
Love the paint color. Sometimes we can overthink things & make our decisions harder. I especially do this with paint & fabric. Give yourselves good pats on the back for good work again. Sandi
Kudos for you attempting this work especially since your plasterers didn't do the job you expected. I'm very impressed. Thank you for sharing and have a great weekend.
Thank you for not editing out Ollie's fall,😂. It was so beautifully human. I trip up the stairs- most often when I'm holding a plate of food! I'm so excited everything is coming together. I love your inspiration board.
We are decorating too, and it’s so inspiring when you come to roller the walls. I love painting too! Well done Laura and Ollie you making great progress 😊
In the US we use a car repair compound that sounds exactly like this. The product is called Bondo. It can be sanded and shaped to mimic a nice molding. Sounds like it is the quicker drying product that you a have. Just so you know to look around for a possible cheaper option. Same product, but labeled for a more specific job.
Thanks Susan, We did use u-pol which I think is a European equivalent before on our front door. You can add more catalyst to make it set faster which is nice but we found it didn’t adhere to the wood that well. Bit of flex and movement would cause it to crack. The repair care stuff stays a bit flexible so avoids this. It is however quite expensive but I’ve been super impressed. Would go for 1 hour next time though as the 4 hours is way too long for the small sections we have to fill, currently waiting for a section to set by tomorrow morning!
I'm always so impressed by your attention to detail, even in those areas that will get covered up by paint later! Also, I keep thinking about the extent of your skill set at this point in your renovation and TH-cam channel...!! 👏👏👏
you are both so capable! 😀 I am always impressed! I really admire your color theory as well and the inspiration bits in this one are so smart! 🤩 Just got a bit confused why you would not embrace the slight asymmetry of the new bathroom, to me it seems charming? Thank you for sharing the process!
I always feel so motivated and inspired to get on with our own renovations when I watch your videos. Sometimes I have you playing along whilst I work. 😂 really enjoy watching on Saturday morning with a coffee. You’re doing a great job. Thanks for sharing. 😊
Water is a chemical! As a chemist I really hate that the term 'chemicals' is always get a bad rap. 'Natural' products can be good or bad just like 'Chemicals'.
Laura, if you’re trying to be mindful of chemicals and your health, please reconsider your candle use and any other burning (for example, wood burners). Candles are highly carcinogenic. Wood burners produce millions of PM 2.5 particulates - with each burn - that pollute our indoor (and outdoor) air quality and embed in our internal organs. 😔 Stay well and good luck with all of your lovely family ambitions, x
Your skin is absolutely glorious. How is it possible to look that gorgeous while painting? All the best.

Falling up the stairs is better than down them 😂 I use to do that frequently. I love the colours you chose so pretty
I wear a disposable shower cap for splattery paint or ceilings . Not glamorous but it saves having to wash my hair.
Definitely a pair of lights dropping down (a bit like bluebell flowers) for the entrance area to your bedroom 👍

I can't believe it's a room!! This last bit goes so fast, from bare bones to almost done!! Well done guys you work so hard

Hello Laura
Love the colour in the bathroom
The windows will look fabulous when they are done
Hope you have a lovely weekend
Love to both
Andrew 💐💜xx
Fantastic you are both so hard working and your home is a credit to you both.
If that's FB shaded white, it looks so different throughout the day. It goes from a creamy colour to a gray, beautifully.😍
Thank you for not editing out Ollie's fall,😂. It was so beautifully human. I trip up the stairs- most often when I'm holding a plate of food! I'm so excited everything is coming together. I love your inspiration board.
Well done you! don't forget to take some rest though ❤❤
It is so gratifying painting. Instant lovely. I’m so glad to see you happy. ❤
It's all coming together now. Brilliant effort from you both as usual. Classic falling upstairs from Ollie too - hope it was only his pride injured
Hello Fresh taught my husband how to cook! (even though we now use Gousto)
We are decorating too, and it’s so inspiring when you come to roller the walls. I love painting too!
Well done Laura and Ollie you making great progress 😊
You will take so much pride in your home when all is said and done. Your work is so meticulous and absolutely beautiful! 🏡
Oooh paint! It looks great, lovely video as always ❤
It looks so much bigger than before!
I love it when I get to the painting point too!

Making my third cup of ☕️ and watching while I relax.🤍✨
You two are hard workers and so lovely and genuine. Everything is looking beautiful. 🌿
For washing you windows try using a roller wrapped in a tea towel with the extention pole hopefully it's long enough
For anyone else watching, Screwfix bare plaster paint, use it straight out the tin and no mess or smell at all x
Just aside from decorating, your skin is amazing..literally glowing!...just had to say.
Lovely video as always. You guys make such a good team! Brilliant progress - it’s really coming together now. Can’t wait for the end result. Xx

It’s been a while since I’ve been this early to your video. Very very glad. Have a great weekend Laura!
Loving your work guys - it’s going to look amazing ❤❤❤
You could use a long handled squeegee to clean that glass roof
It is looking fantastic!!! Well done on all the hard work ☺️
Love you guys!!
Thank you for the footage of windows 👍🏼
I always feel so motivated and inspired to get on with our own renovations when I watch your videos. Sometimes I have you playing along whilst I work. 😂 really enjoy watching on Saturday morning with a coffee. You’re doing a great job. Thanks for sharing. 😊
Wow, 5th viewer. I think that’s the earliest I’ve ever tuned into a video! I love Fridays and getting to see these updates!
Hâte 😉
so close to a 100k subs...
15:42 thumbs up for this moment.
Best but when you get to paint! X
Hey Hun just wondered if you could link the long roller you used please? If you recommend it that is!! Xx
Laura, is there a ‘before’ house tour of your new home video?
What roller do you use?
You said you started the day with sandjng? Did you send the walls?
What song is being played while you start painting? It's so lovely!
Don't forget to have time out together Laura.....date nights ...you are doing great xxxxx
I love FB paint.....
❤❤❤

I’m a little surprised that you didn’t stuff some rags around the windows all this time, maybe this section was closed off from the rest of the house?😵

Umm wear a hair covering next time. It covers you head and is disposable and you won’t get paint in your pretty hair. Paint job amazing. Well done!
