- Boeing 737-800 landing in Dubai airport during sunset. Approaches to Dubai are most beautiful during evening hours as the temperature cools down, turbulence goes away and the golden hour colours over the vibrant city of Dubai gives it some magic that cannot be felt in other places outside United Arab Emirates. Boeing 737-800 is a medium size jet that feels like riding a scooter on a highway between all the heavy A380's and 777's that are the common sight in Dubai.
Fly Safe!

Do you think that flaps extension schedule was ok in this video? Leave a comment :)
i think it was a really short fly
This is Dubai) you’ve been assigned speeds. So extension flaps not your choice, but ATC)
I thi
wouldnt think anyone has the right to comment on the flaps schedule unless they are a real 737 pilot!
There will be the hardcore flight simmers commenting about it for sure 😂 I am one but in no way am I a professional pilot.
Agreed, even then different airlines have different SOPs. Not everyone follows Boeing recommended flap schedule
@@737simviator i know what was meant by flap schedule. I just didn’t think that a bunch of sim pilots or enthusiasts needed to comment or attempt to correct what happened in the video. It was different than your average approach but I’m not going to pretend I was in the cockpit and give advice for this scenario.
I think the schedule for flaps and gear was a bit too early, if I were you, I’d have dropped the gear and F15 at GS capture. In this video you’ve been flying straight and level with the gear dropped for quite some time, which resulted N1 be in the 60s
You are right, but remember about speed restrictions in busy airspace :)
Yes I guess that’s what makes the difference 👍
And if you spoted block time it was 38 minutes which means they flew from place of +45 degrees celsius to a place of 48 degrees , so we usually drop gear earlier to cool down brakes a little bit more at higher altitude to avoid 500 degrees upon landing
If you need to reduce speed due to traffic, you have to do it. 🤷🏻♂️
Amazing!!! That landing to top it off as well 🎉🎉
I think you went to your landing flaps too late, but if you were assigned speeds by atc on final app, then its not your fault but rather the fact that there is usually a lot of traffic in dubai and the atc has no choice but to give you certain speeds on approach
Is this flydubai airlines ?
one question, why does the clock show 00:39 minutes of flight?)
fantastic, the closes i can get for now
Hello captain fantastic video and i have a question, i wonder why didn't you use autobrake?
I love this landing….sir I afraid to fly because of height fear
This has to be an early preview of MSFS 2024. Very nice frame rates. 😂
😂😂
I'm in love
Czemu lądowanie na Flaps 40?
let's goo
What camera are you using? Amazing footage!
Thank you, regular gopro 9
@@737Aviation Wow, didn't expect that. Would you mind sharing the settings?
This is not a flight this one is dustbin
Fire 🔥 works on the starboard side were amazing cap!!!
Good to hear!
Belíssimo pouso. parabéns
Love an early morning arrival on 12L
3:11 what is that alarm? BTW I'm glad I found this channel. I'm starting to get into aviation as a fan/enthusiast even though I get scared from turbulence (thanks Denver).
It is the autopilot disengage alarm. Nothing to worry about as it just means that the pilots are physically flying the plane
Nothing to worry unless it disconnects by itself in cruise in the middle of the night ;)
flaps 40 for less pitch?
NYC landing bravo 👍👏
Thats a beautiful video!
Appreciate!
Хороший авиасимулятор 👍
Thanks for this.
Whatairline?

💕💕💕JÛST WÔW 💕💕💕
nice :)
OMG❤
Why the gear drop so early . And flaps 1 straight to 15 ?
Don't be fooled. It's just msfs25 with rtx5090 ✈️
Looks like ATC might have given them a speed restriction for traffic separation (looking at the ND you can see traffic on final 5 miles ahead of them), so the gear might have come down early to slow down quicker. Also in the 737, the SOP is gear down, flaps 15 so that's why they went straight to flaps 15.
It is Dubai with a lot of traffic and speed restrictions, you are right. The airplane was light and flaps 1 was sufficient to maintain speed, and after we needed 15 so we set it. Flap schedule on Boeing is recommended but not mandatory, only gear down with flaps greater than 10 to avoid gear horn. Good catch by the way
@@737Aviation thank you for the reply. Love your stuff. And love to learn
👍
Nice video
Thanks
Auto brake ????
Is it obligatory to use it?;)
@@737Aviation
I don't think so but I think it's better to put them on to avoid deviations during manual braking 🤷
@@Skypilot_FR yes, but on empty aircraft on 4000m runway ;)
@@737Aviation ohh ok 👍🏼 thank you 😃
@@737Aviation That approach speed does not look like empty aircraft? ;)
Fully automatic ILS landing. Only thing the captain did was reduce the speed to 139 kts. 😊
Pilots disconnected the autopilot at 3:11, he flew it in on final.
