4K -Landing in Dubai in heavy rain (DXB/OMDB)

Hi All!
Short video presenting cockpit view of Boeing 737 landing in Dubai airport during the recent heavy rains on the runway 12L. Since rain is uncommon in Middle East area the couple of hours of precipitation caused heavy delay at #dxb and much more disrubtion in the city of #dubai itself.

If u noticed there was a headwind so the speed is increased to compensate the wind speed

@@draviatorjimmy almost no wind during a final stage. Have a look on GS and IAS. No difference between them. Durnig final app slight different GS than IAS but it's feels like nothing.

It was landing at max landing weight, in fact we requested vectors to burn of some fuel saved due less winds

Thats cool. I didn't know the Auto Throttle switch flips off by itself when you disengage AP.
