Short video presenting cockpit view of Boeing 737 landing in Dubai airport during the recent heavy rains on the runway 12L. Since rain is uncommon in Middle East area the couple of hours of precipitation caused heavy delay at #dxb and much more disrubtion in the city of #dubai itself.

i live in dubai and the rainstorm that you guys flew in was absolutley crazy on ground
the same in Bahrain happened and all the apron was flooded and a lot of flights were canceled 😞
The B737 is a unique airplane all airlines WestJet Trans south air. Love the B737 nice plane.

How often does Dubai get rain?
Couple of days a year but in form of occasional few minutes showers. It was raining for hours straight this time
