Woah! Seeing a landing from this cockpit view must be an amazing experience, and I hope I can experience it one day as well. I'd love to see more real life aviation content, keep it up!
Very nice job, mostly importantly to mention very small and smooth corrections even at 28 KTS x-wind and NOT PUMPING LIKE CRAZY that bloody yoke. EXCELLENT JOB!
@@springmediachannel I was not given the opportunity in real life to become a pilot. I became a virtual pilot because it was the only way I could fulfill my dreams of flying. The only one I envy is the pilots who can fly such aircraft as this B737 in real life .... Greetings to all pilots those in real life and those virtual pilots....
Incredible video quality mate. Must be one of the best cockpit videos out there. I wish you can make another one of this quality in a 320 flight deck. On all my jump seat flights on the 320 family I was never allowed to take any videos…
@@springmediachannel All my jumpseat flights were possible because I just asked the captain, who I didn’t know before. So I got multiple times the chance without any good contact haha. It’s way easier with a good connection but not impossible without it;)
Actually it is desirable to make firm landings. If you try to make a smooth landing and extend your landing airborne distance you can expect to be criticised.
@@kickedinthecalfbyacow7549 DOH ! You got me there. I should have known that just by the definition of FPV, but I'm not a pilot. You could probably tell. Thanks.
I don't remember what the reported wind was, but the ND doesn't tell the full story (as it doesn't show gusts very well). The formula is one half of the reported steady headwind component plus the full gust increment above the steady wind. Apparently we decided based on the wind report an added 3kts of gust increment was necessary. It is always easy to (armchair) judge from the TH-cam comments.
Hm, I did not notice before that both FDs illuminate as "MA" on A/P disconnect, need to check in PMDG :) P.S. I am not sure it that was legal to let you in the cockpit, so probably better to remove the video to save the flight crew from trouble 😄
It was legal! I am the first officer on this flight and I arranged a cockpit permit for him which is possible within our company under certain conditions :)
A flight in the Cockpit is always the best
For sure! Really enjoyed both the flights
better then first class
Man's out here handling 27 knot crosswinds like it ain't no thing. Legend.
steady wind is way more doable then a gust. I think his was steady so it made it a lot smoother but still aced!

This one has to be the most gorgeous approach and landing I've seen.
Glad you liked it!

I fully agree. The pilot flying is extremely skilled and in full control of the aircraft, only using minor corrections to stay on profile
Thanks! I appreciate the compliment 😁
Men your MSFS2020 videos are getting more and more realistic!!!
The GPU upgrade helps a lot :-)
@@springmediachannel jajaja brilliant!
lol i had to look twice lol🤣

Unfortunately I have no close connections to A320 operators so that’s not happening anytime soon :(

why did they call for the runway vacated even though they were still way before the holding line?
Thanks for sharing. Excellent video! Captures everything. One of the best of this type. Your image stabilization is so smooth it ran off with my wife.

Sheesh those airport lights are extremely vivid, iPhone Pro performed nicely. The pilots landing, buttttttterrr!
Yeah the IPhone 15 Pro Max is amazing. Really loving the camera quality so far
Wondeful plane and vídeo.❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you
main gear touchdown so smooth I had to rewatch because I missed it
It really was!
Amazing, that 737's cockpit looks so clean and brand new.
This airframe is 8 years old and delivered new to the company in 2016
@@springmediachannel Very surprised, well maintained.
mad respect for filming in horisontal mode

Awesome stuff mate! I'm still waiting for my turn in the jumpseat ;)
I’ve been on the jumpseat many times but still as excited as I was on the first flight :)
Damn the quality is siiiicccckkk!
So was the landing :O
Butter landing
Wow that stopped so quickly, impressive
Yeah that was some incredibly hard braking to make the exit
Notice, just after 3:29, how the altimeter goes negative as the runway is under the sea level. Cool!
Wow! This is awesome. You need to do a settings reveal 🤣
Everything on ultra!!
Pouso tranquilo e suave "na mão"!
main gear touch was super butter

@@TomTom-mb9tgthat fully depends on the conditions. In this case excellent flying and runway conditions so no need for a firm landing
Very good recording! 👍
Thanks!
Beautiful!
Very nice recording.
Thanks!
Congratulations on a textbook landing with crosswind.
If the GPWS says "10", you know the landing was perfect!
no?
Bravo,nice kiss touch
What’s the click and winding sound? Camera?
That’s awesome dude
It sure was!
Why are the panel lights kept on and so bright? Wouldnt it be better to have them off and only the dark ambient with the panel screens?
Thanks!
They are actually dimmed and can be a lot brighter
That is an RNAV approach, right? Because there is no ILS on the screens. or is it a visual?
No it’s an ILS approach into RWY 36C, look at the PFD
@@springmediachannel Oh, indeed. Now I see it.
@@springmediachannel AP deactivated very early though.
At first sight I almost thought there is now a mod for msfs that simulates footages from an iPhone 15 Pro Max 😂
so nice

request all lights level 2 before landing. those lights are blinding... :P
Yeah the new LED lights are very bright
Are you doing this with Airplane mode on?
Yes
@@springmediachannel Oh wow nice. I guess all I have to do is to just ask them nicely.
Thanks for sharing. Do you push yoke forward after front wheel settles on the runway?
You don’t push it forward, you just release the back pressure
MSFS 2030 with PMDG 737 leaked 😮
Imagine what the sim would look like by then :)
Nice !
Am inspired. 5 🌟
Great
In which city is this?
Amsterdam
Is he trimming up or down while landing can someone please tell me
Amazing
Why is the flight path vector symbol off to the left on the ADI ?
Because of the cross wind

Great video! How did you get into the cockpit?
Through the flightdeck door. :) My buddy flies the 737 and arranged the trip for me
He broke in
Less than 10kt headwind and you got a vref+8kt? why? To use VREF+8 You need a headwind of around 16kt. Would been enough with the normal VREF+5
That’s excluding gust. At 10ft the wind was 13kts and shortly before that 20+

With such little fuel remaining id do flaps 30. Can see its at 40.
