3 Excellent things in this video. 1. Very good setup on the camera angels 2. Very GOOD editing 3. Very good soundtrack It flows so well perfect ... The silence and the commentary are perfect. It almost makes me feel like I'm there in death valley :). Oh and a AMAZING ADVENTUROUS LADY being the 4th.
Catherine, You continue to capture the most breathtaking vistas. It has been such a long time since I visited the Park. When I did, I didn’t appreciate it. As I’ve grown older, my sense of such things, my perspective, my appreciation of them, has brought me to sharp recognition, life and beauty is nature’s artistry. Man can only diminish them, mar the canvas and ruin its masterful contrast and colors. It can be truly said... ‘When God created the Earth, He knew what He was doing.’
Dang lady, your video presentations are like watching The National Geographic Channel. The shots of you walking the trails demonstrate the effort you put into producing this video. You have an eye for set location, directing and editing. To me the waterfall at end just validates my comment.
Never imagined that Death Valley was so beautiful, but then your great photography certainly makes it that way! Thanks again for your great videos. Makes my Sunday's so much better because of you!
oh man its the most beautiful magnificent mysterious huge place on earth youtube any video on deathvalley amazing place 3 million 400,000 acres of desolate rugged mountains and desert, and now they just built a 100 million dollar 4 diamond resort at the place where the hottest temperature ever on earth 134 degrees the resort is called the oasis, formerly furnace creek resort
sorry to be so off topic but does anybody know a tool to get back into an Instagram account..? I was stupid lost my password. I would love any tips you can offer me.
@Abel Casey I really appreciate your reply. I got to the site thru google and im in the hacking process now. Looks like it's gonna take a while so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
I just so look forward to your videos! And I really appreciate all the extra work you do with leaving cameras to actually see this beautiful woman hiking along! And your close shots or video is so perfectly in focus and the color just jumps out at you! Thank you
I met my wife in Death Valley during a photo workshop. Even today, we still fight over tripod space for the best vantage point. And, of course, she always wins. We have visited Death Valley several times, and never tire of the beautiful landscape. Thanks for sharing your trip with us.
Lots of diverse terrain. There is 3.4 million acres to explore. You can go from over a hundred degrees in the valley to snow in the mountains, in the same day.
youtube any deathvalley video most amazing place on earth, geologist, hiker, offroader photographer, explorers paradise with a 100 million dollar 4 diamond resort called the oasis
Hi Cat that's what I love about your channel consistent pics of beauty waterfalls, mountains, valleys, sunrise and sunsets, etc as jaw dropping as they are and you do an excellent job of capturing it's only the tip of the iceberg to actually being there thanks for the list of places where I could gaze for days when I retire next year I envy and appreciate you so much thank you for sharing God Bless You 🙏❤️😃🌵🌲👣✌️👍
Wife and I really enjoy your adventures! We see the tremendous work you put in with the videos you take and edit! Wife and I have a 2020 Eagle Cap 1200 truck camper sitting on a Ford 350 dually! Thank you for sharing your gift!!!
I'm sure you noticed the pipe that runs the length of that wash. It goes all the way to Panamint Springs Resort and supplies water to that resort from the pond at the falls. I've worked on that pipe before doing repairs.
While living in Minnesota, the cold winter months make it difficult for me to exercise outside. So I ride my stationary bike inside and enjoy the outdoors by watching your videos. Thank you for this latest Death Valley video. You do a great job showing the beauty. I hope to visit there someday.
Catherine, I stumbled across your videos a month or so ago and love them. Great videography and music, enough voiceover to provide information, but not so much that it detracts from the stunning vista you seem to be able to capture. Really good job, you deserve recognition for some of the best outdoor vlogging that I have seen. Keep up the good work and perhaps I'll stop over and visit your patreon page :)
Hi Catharine, what a wonderful life you have iam very envious, what a beautiful place rare to see untouched and no pollution watching you is the nearest I will ever get to experience all that beautiful places,,,many thanks ...".
What a spectacular place, displayed in an equally beautiful video. I haven't been to Death Valley since the 1980s, exploring with my own pickup camper. Having spent the last 20 years in the Pacific Northwest, I feel a real need to return to this place of such remarkable natural attractions and wide open spaces.
Hi Catherine! This was another great video from sunrise to sunset. The scenery was beautiful. Looking at that salt was amazing. Thank you Catherine for making a great video. See you soon! Stay safe and healthy. Safe travels.
I never thought Death Valley would be such an amazing place. Catherine, you're very talented and gifted in what you do, thank you for sharing with us. And one called out to another and said, "Holy, Holy, Holy, is the LORD of hosts, The whole earth is full of His glory.” -Isaiah 6:3
I sure do love the way you put things together , I love everything about you places you go and the things you do. You represent freedom and my old stomping grounds like nobody else.
Hi Catherine, wow! I have another place to see now😊 @ 6:36 on Your Hike You were walking by some Amazing Rocks/ mudfossils, You were not alone, the Giants were all Smiles. I am 50 now and 5 Yrs ago I hurt my Eye (ruptured My Globe) helping My Neighbor, since then I have felt blessed to see what I was missing all around Us. If You ever get to Yucca Valley/ Jt and need a helper lol, I'm Free. There are a few Sacred Sites around here. John B in Yucca.
It's awesome to be alone in a place like that enjoying only nature's company. Pretty hike and views... gorgeous waterfall. The flat salt surface is very cool.
What a great trip! Who would have thought year round water in Death Valley? It was flowing well! The salt flats and dunes were cool! I could see why you like the sunsets at the dunes. I like the colors and the shadowing of sunset. Thank you, they’re all done so well!
Brought back some memories... I drove thru in the summer of 2003 when it was REALLY hot... I remember the night sky was amazing! unlike anything I had ever seen before. Thanks for sharing your trip!
A water falls in Death Valley, who would've thought! The campsite at 11:30 looks like a parking lot. Great video depicting the amazing beauty of Death Valley.
I am truly blessed every time I see your videos it makes me want to stop everything I am doing and head on out right now but due diligence I must complete my task before I can go play thank you again Kat for sharing your love
Death Valley National Park is, by a considerable amount, the largest N.P. in the lower 48. It has the lowest point in the US (everybody knows) but most do not know, it is 85 miles from the tallest peak in the lower 48, Mt Whitney, which you showed in a video or 2 ago. Great video as usual! You go girl!
Wow... what a great experience! Didn't know this area had water like that. And... a real awesome experience to have "alone".... So envious! Thank you for what you do!
Beautiful production as always. First went to Death Valley I think in 1974. I go back every three or four years. I revisit favorite spots and explore new locations. Darwin Falls has long been a favorite. Did you know that there is a second much higher fall just above the main fall you were visiting? Scramble up the rocks to the left and look for a trace trail, follow it a short distance and you get a view from above of a narrow fall some fifty feet high, emptying into a beautiful pool. Great job girl, you're the best!
You really picked up all the colors the change in light provides in the desert. This was such a peaceful video along with the music. Very relaxing. Thanks so much
Hi, I used to visit Death Valley for a week at a time over the New Year's for about 4 or 5 years in a row. This was back in the late '60s and I always stayed at Stove Pipe Wells campground. It was free back then and there were no hookups of any kind. There were restrooms and showers there and I think the showers were 50 cents with a coin operated door lock. There was also an air strip that was dirt that was behind the showers and restrooms. Your video brought back good memories! Thanks for the great photography and video!
Death Valley is my favorite winter hangout. One great thing about it is that you can hike just about anywhere, unlike other parks where you have to stick to trails. If you see an interesting canyon, pull off the road and hike to it. I have a book called "Hiking Death Valley" by Michel Digonnet, that tells you of all the off the beaten path hikes. You could spend all winter there and never do the same hike twice.
Wow that is a lot of work setting up all those shots of you walking and doing things. Thanks so much for sharing part of your life and the fantastic scenery and camper.
This is a great film. Artistic as nature is the star and she leads the journey. I especially like how now the films have beautiful music and quiet hikes in a realistic way that still captures the natural beauty.
Hello Catherine, thank you for sharing this fine video. I was not aware that there was water flowing year round on the Darwin Falls Trail. Always the very best to you for your good health and safety. 🤗
I like your "magic carpet"!! Carve out your very own 5 x 7 living room!! You are one gorgeous substantive, woman!! Exude confidence and independence. Articulate and peaceful!! Wonderful vid content!! Thx Miss Cat
Lot of people do not realize how beautiful Death Valley is until they get there and able to see by person . By the way your video is down to earth informative and inspirational .
Hi Catherine. I just discovered your wonderful channel last night. I too live full-time for half the year in the wilds of the American West boondocking in my Bigfoot truck camper. Your excellent videography skills captures the experience and pure solitude like nobody else. Thank you.
Gorgeous video. Feels like i'm watching The National Geographic channel! Love the 4k and all the colors. You can tell a lot of thought went into this video creation. Thank you!
Thank you..as usual, your photography is wonderful. As someone who use to hike and can’t much because of health, your videos bring me some peace. I so much need to be out in nature..your videos are the best..music, sights ..and those pesky bees
Cool spot and a visit from a busy bee! Joshua Trees are so cool. Nice photography. Darwin Falls looks awesome. Nice green grassy spot, and water...a little oasis! Beautiful falls!!! You said an "enchanting oasis!" I have got to get there! So nice! Next day! Coffee first! Wow....I gotta see this! Mesquite Dunes looks really neat. Wonderful sunset!
Watching your beautiful videos on Sunday morning is like going to church. Thank you for taking us along into Gods country. Again I say your photography and production are incredible. Now more than ever, your videos give us an escape during this crazy covid lockdown. So many people will only visit a place like this once or twice in their lifetime, and many of them will only stay for a day or so. Yet they remember that day for the rest of their lives. You inspire so many to go see Gods beauty. Thank You and stay safe.🙏🙏
Been there, but did not know about Darwin Falls. Going back once is on my bucket list, but now with the Darwin Falls hike which is such polar opposite to the rest of Death Valley. Thank you Catherine, wonderful dialog and video!!!
It's interesting, that you being a "mature woman"...had never taken any kind of knee injuries thus far. How did you manage to "not have any knee pain" or problems? You look very strong and sturdy. This is a significant gift from God...for sure. Thx Catherine. You spent "a lot of time on this video"...setting up camera and "walking both into and out of range" with them. Pretty nice stuff.
I've been to Death Valley many times, Not sure if you had a chance to see Furnace Creek Inn, With all of the palm trees, green grass and water falls, I was so lucky to stay there many weeks at a time. I never get tired of your traveling road trip videos in your camper, I could watch them even if they were an hour long. Thank you for letting us ride along with you on your adventures.
Yes. I stayed there years ago. It’s amazing. I was going to film it, but thought with the virus, it probably wasn’t the best time to go exploring inside.
Great video, I always enjoy driving through Death Valley going between Lone Pine and Las Vegas. Amazing scenery through the mountains. I will have to make a trip to the falls now, didn't realize there was that much water, what an oasis. It's added to my list.
Inland salt flats always remind me that Mother Earth is always doing makeovers. They're the remnants of oceans from millions of years ago, where life once swam instead of walked. Before some geological cataclysm cut it off & changing weather patterns dried it out. Makes me wonder what amazing creatures might have been there before.
Those are the places I like to stay being so remote. Makes for great meditation and just taking in all the natural beauty our great country has to offer!
I visited that area with my grandpa in the early 1960s, searching for ghost towns and abandoned mines to explore. We met and talked with a nice old prospector there called Death Valley Smiley, and his donkey.
As always, a wonderfully photographed video, and excellent story telling. I've been to DV many times, but my wife never has, and now wants to go. I think for my birthday in February we'll make the trip. Thanks again, Cat, for this Sunday morning respite.
Thank you for your video's. I just spent a week here with my dog. Our first time out in our van build. The Mesquite Sand Dunes are spectacular♡ Couldn't get back as far as you but still beautiful.
3 Excellent things in this video.
1. Very good setup on the camera angels
2. Very GOOD editing
3. Very good soundtrack
It flows so well perfect ... The silence and the commentary are perfect. It almost makes me feel like I'm there in death valley :).
Oh and a AMAZING ADVENTUROUS LADY being the 4th.

Your footsteps in the sand, your beautiful long shadow and my cup of coffee. It’s going to be a great day. Thanks Cat.

Very cool. The part with barren landscape, no other soul insight, almost has a feel of solo travel on Mars. Must have been an unique experience .
My favorite is Mesquite Dunes with geological contrasts, awesome shapes, and dramatic lighting. A photographic candy land. Thanks for sharing. Cheers
You manage to find beauty wherever you go. What a great talent.

Thank you for your video's. I just spent a week here with my dog. Our first time out in our van build. The Mesquite Sand Dunes are spectacular♡ Couldn't get back as far as you but still beautiful.
