remove l/f subframe bolt, loosen l/r sub bolt gentle pry down l/frt of subframe. easy no need to remove shield just fold back some for access. I just place jack on lower bell housing bolt area left side.
I would not support it by the harmonic balancer , that is a big no no , now the owner will have problems with his harmonic balancer because this mechanic wants to do shortcuts , you need an engine hoist to hold it from the top and lower it to get the engine mounts off , yes remove the belly pan , stop trying to find shortcuts , do it right the first time

No, but this car had an oil pan gasket leaks

What was the noise the car make before change motor mount how you know
clunking sound specially while you stop at the traffic light then when you start to go you can hear the engine jump then you hear that clunking sound
