Thanks for the video. I installed this yesterday. The only thing I don't know that I like has to do with that left right movement you were initially wrong about. It moves too easy and I dont see a way to lock it in the left right position I am looking for. I am using a wired spotlight cam which is heavier than the battery cams. But the mount was super easy other than that.. I'll be buying more of these.
Thanks for the review Nater. You wouldn't happen to know to know the the width of the thicker section would you? I have a stucco molding that measures about an inch and a quarter. This one looks like it only has an inch space?

hey, I've had this ladder for close to 10 years now. Have two of them actually. Both Werner MT-22 and I like them. I'll see about doing a video on them, I've certainly found many uses!
Hey Nater, how is the Ring stick up cam hold up in the weather? I just received my Ring kit yesterday. Also..how often do these batteries need recharged? Want to do this gutter mount on mine but how often will I be climbing a ladder to recharge? Lol 😆

Yes, still holding well. I did try a bigger/longer/heavier camera, the Eufy Cam 3 pro and it would tilt down over time but it handles the ring stick up and similar cameras well.
I'm not aware of a hard limit. I have 9 Ring, 8 Blink and 3 foscams all running simultaneously without a problem. Ultimately your internet bandwidth might be the bottleneck for these cloud based cameras. If you're asking about wifi range that's more dependent on your wifi router than the camera itself. I've had mine hundreds of feet away when outdoors with line of sight.
Depends on your need but Ring is better than Blink. See th-cam.com/video/_KbOLqKgIGg/w-d-xo.html I'm evaulating some more cams now too. Tested Reolink and now Eufy. Really promising competitors. Reolink video is on my channel too.

Seeking ways to attach to aluminum mobile home. Love this but my cam has the round base for anchor
Darr, I'm not sure what cam you have but this one also had a round base but it unscrews from the camera. This mount screws directly to the camera.
What is the chance that the screws holding the gutter mount will come loose over time or due to weather issues like snow and wind?
Seems pretty low. I'd be more worried about them rusting stuck. This one is still doing well, no loosening or rusting.
