Did you build the internals on that vvti 2jzge? I am doing the same thing as you but in a 66 mustang. I put in the GTE rods and pistons. The GE rods are thin as pencils!
I haven't yet. I will be getting it running and working well first, then i most likely do the internals in the future! Wasn't in the budget at the time
