    Great video! I think you will lose some miles at top speed but it will do better at turns and looks better. Let us know the differences you will feel

      It will absolutely NOT "do better at turns" with a tire size that isn't matched to the rim

    how is this possible man? the motorcycle instruction booklet says that only 140/70 is approved for the rear. I mean, I would like to change the rear tire, but the one indicated by the manufacturer must be registered on the mt03 registration document, right? I mean, how did you manage to change this aspect legally? If you had an accident it would be a problem.

      It’s the same thing as a car they’re always going to recommend you run factory size tire but doesn’t mean you can run other sizes, they don’t look I to tire size aspects if you get into an accident there’s no legal statute that says it’s illegal to change the tire size or modify a motorcycle in any way possible. Booklet is just manufacturer recommendations for best mpg and accurate Odometer readings

    I got a '21 mt03. I just bought the michelin road 5's in the same sizes you got for front and back. How does your handling feel compared to the stock Dunlop tires?

    • @thesuburbanGenny
      @thesuburbanGenny  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      definitely a lot more grippy and corners are more fun

    When u upgraded the tires ? Still same stock rims ? And how the bike after wide tires behave ? Accelerating? Handling ? Speed ?

    • @thesuburbanGenny
      @thesuburbanGenny  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Same rims just bigger tires bike handled way better gripped way better on accelerating but top speed was like 3mph lower

    I want to know if upgrading the tire size on your mt03 does anything to make it feel more stable on the highway at higher seeds when the wind is blowing you around. Did upgrading the tire size make it feel more stable At all?

    • @thesuburbanGenny
      @thesuburbanGenny  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Tire size is meant for better grip however stability all comes from rider position, wind will try to stop whatever is aerodynamically blocking its direction. Get a decent windscreen to blow the air over your helmet and tuck down when riding in highway

    Just for curiosity, does your bikes frame number start with letter MH...?

      Unfortunately I sold this bike a while back but if I remember correctly I think it did start with mh

    Hi, dude. How much clearance is there between the rear tyre and the chain with the 160 fitted?

    Did the tire change have an affect on performance?

    • @thesuburbanGenny
      @thesuburbanGenny  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Cornering is much easier, however it takes off a few mph from the top speed

      Tires are great! Definitely better cornering. Shaves off a little bit of top speed but they look great! Add me on ig and hmu we can ride whenever!

    Did it affect the height of the bike?

    • @thesuburbanGenny
      @thesuburbanGenny  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Nope sidewall remains the same height only thing that changes is the width of the tire

  • @stevie9361
    @stevie9361 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    You don't go up like this. Just get better tires. Watch ax rider rip up his mt03 on a 140.

    • @skie6282
      @skie6282 ปีที่แล้ว

      This bike handles amazing as is, and adding the wider tire only changes that a little, if anything its a little more stable in leaning, and eith the wider contact pach its safer. But to each their own
