- In the age of comparison, it’s easy to feel behind in life and feel like you’re getting nowhere. But there is a secret fix for it and that is time itself. In this video, I explain the why the way we approach time is problematic, why time is a social construct and how to live according to your own time so you can break free from societal pressures and change your life.

not comparing is always difficult, but having perspective on time is very helpful. thank you
glad it was helpful! not comparing is a life long exercise :)
I never thought about time that way.. nor about the problem of "feeling behind."
I need this kind of videos so bad 😭 I've felt behind and different almost my whole life (discovered at 32 that I have ADHD, MIGHT have played a role 😅)
I've now embraced the fact that I don't seem destined to a "conventional life/ timeline", but not following anyone's track feels scary and lonely sometimes.
The need to compare to others is so strong, and even when you're not, there's always someone to point out the fact that you're an "outsider" and awaken some anxieties
I feel you on that - deviating from convention is definitely not easy and can be quite scary! but the more we talk about it, the more normalized it will become. I sometimes still struggle to trust the process myself too, but I always remind myself to keep coming back to myself, my own self love and the "outsider" path becomes so much more bearable :) best wishes and thank you for watching!
I just stumbled upon this video in a Saturday morning (now) and I found it eye-opening. Thank you so much, from Tokyo, Japan.
You are so welcome! Hope you found it helpful 🥰
staying in your lane vibes 💫 thanks Matt
Exactly! Stay in your lane, live your own time 🥰
You’re a gem! I watch videos on YT but don’t engage (it’s a digital footprint thing) but omg I HAD to break out of my norm to like, comment, and subscribe!
Not only do I dig your take and suggestions (especially the physics, psychology, and sociological tie ins) but I loved the YOU that was presenting these ideas.
My favorite part: the bonfire, “Married by 28? Burning! Have a stable career by 30? Burning! Have a house by 35? Burning!” Awwww yisss, some girls just wanna watch the world burn 😈 🔥 🔥🔥🤘💪
You’re fabulous! Gonna go watch more of your vids now :)
so nice to hear from you and thank you for the kind words! yess, I'm all about understanding issues from a holistic perspective, so I'm SO glad it resonated with you. :)
What internal timeline are you moving on from?
You remind me of the "oracle" from the matrix
Only know a fraction of the truth, but trying 😉
