John Chapter 3.3. The evangelism of the gospel, is essential. Nobody can repent unless they understand that they are sinners. Evangelism Explosion III courses etc must be started. "You must be born again and baptized in the Holy Spirit" You can't call yourself a Christian unless you are. That is your statement of faith in Jesus Christ. And it must be evidenced in your Cristian life going forward.

Sadly, I suspect it has been many decades since the Anglican Church _within England_ had any Bishop or Archbishop who has been as steadfast and faithful to the Gospel as the Ugandan Archbishop in this clip! What shines through in Africa is a passionate _faith,_ a real reverence for Christ, and a real respect for scripture. But in England, the most senior clerics (especially) are quasi-political figures whose chief desire seems to be to fit in smoothly with the increasingly atheistic and hedonistic society around them. I don't remember seeing any of them calling people to repentance - at least not in the last four decades of time that I can remember. And I don't remember seeing any one of them really forcefully and fearlessly proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Gay people are dying in Uganda and across the world because people of religion think they have the right to impose their world view in others and the number one priority of the global Anglican church is who should be the big boss in place of the Archbishop of Canterbury?! I think you should actually read the story in the Bible, especially the bit where Lot offers his two young daughters to the travellers to have sex with as recompense for the lack of hospitality they had endured...not sure Jesus would approve of paedophilia either...
