I feel like this would easily fit a Goku that lost everything from a simple “let him power up” mistake that led to the destruction of everything he loved or cared about and all he has left is himself, his power, and his mistakes. This Goku trains for years to redeem himself and fix his mistakes, eventually achieving a power unknown to him, God Ki. Beerus would catch wind of it and meet him. Throughout the course of time and after a battle with Beerus, he would train with Whis to master his God Ki, and in the end he would find and defeat the one who destroyed his life. But that’s just me.
I feel like for the finale of Dragon Ball the saiyans that are prideful should go through an arc like this.
@@markandrew287 I’d love to see an arc where Goku is actually serious for an extended period of time, say a few months or something and he has to own up to his mistakes, mistakes that cost him a lot, friends, family, even mentors. If Goku and Vegeta had an arc where they had to fix things they caused on ‘this’ scale it’d definitely be a good finale if they ever decide to finish DB lol

I’m talking more like “we literally lost everything and need to be absolutely serious for once to get it all back” but instead of just fighting someone and getting everything back it’s more like multiple episodes if not an arc of that kind of seriousness.

@@rodimussupreme2329 Nah, Golden SSJ4 was actually the original concept for SSJ4 in GT. The original concept design for SSG was basically SSJ3 with a cape and then Toriyama said that was stupid and redesigned it to what we know today.

I wished that during the fight between Goku and Beerus, he should of done that type of transformation that was in the video with the red streak going across his chest with his hair raised up a bit. Only when he was angry and desperate. It wouldn't be a new transformation, just something added to ssjg

Funimation didn't like Bruce Falcouner's rescore of DBZ. Funimation and Bruce aren't really all that close anymore either. DBZ got americanized which is something we don't do to the anime these days. Americanizing is very unpopular these days so I don't think Funi is going to rescore Super.
Taren yeah, from a publisher standpoint Bruce won’t be hired anywhere again, he was shown to be a massive asshole who payed his co workers next to nothing and got in trouble for straight ripping off some songs
I love this track it really brings out the history of Goku and how far he came from a mere Martial Art Fighter to a literal God, also the remix beat of Super Saiyan 3 adds a nice touch to it and the heart beat is spot on amazing really nails the tone. 🐉🐲

To this day I still think that Super Saiyan God's SSJ variant should have been the normal god form with nearly-SSJ hair and the trademark blue eyes. It honestly looks so fucking cool. Better than Blue imo, despite how nice that form looks.

He reminsces on his life, his family and friends,all the training and battles hes gone through coming up to this point. Then a blue burst of energy shows up and he screams his lungs out in order to regain Ultra Instinct. Thats when the song starts

I remember was SSJG was huge, but then in the future... Ultra Instinct gave us a break from Super Saiyan transformations, and yet... it still gave us lore about, and was related to, divinity and the Gods and Goddesses’ secret fight transformation.

When I hear this theme, I pictured that Goku is fighting a very strong opponent that is the biggest threat to destroy earth. He is beat down and half dead. He’s having insights of his friends and doesn’t want to let them down. He feels that if he loses, he will be in shame that he let his friends down and doesn’t want to be at fault that the planet is going to be history. That’s when he began to find his perseverance, build momentum, turn Super Saiyan god, and continue fighting for planet earth and his love ones.
The Saiyan Race never thinks about giving up as with time they bypass their limits and become stronger and become the strongest
It is only vegeta that wants to become the strongest
While the others just want to keep getting stronger and stronger and stronger and stronger forever
I wou;d have loved this design if this was canon because of how much it pays homage to my favorite SSJ form, SSJ4.

No it wasn't. The OG design was a SSJ3 with a cape. And for obvious reasons they changed that.

Well they implied that it wouldn't of been much different, so it would of been a waste of animation to them.
+An Advocate For Manga I wouldn't think so because when you compare the power levels gogeta at super saiyan probably wouldve destroyed ssj3 goku the same way and that max powered vegeta only pushed beerus to 10% so a fully powered super gogeta couldve at least pushed beerus to say 40 or 50%

André Motocross Nah. Gogeta isn't THAT much stronger than the two in SS1 (if he can go higher than that). Thats why I give the number I do. no more than 40%. Beerus (in the movie) gave 70% against SSG Goku, and your saying that that wasn't even twice as strong as SS Gogeta? Thats not logical. If you're talking about SS4 Gogeta theoretically, then yes, 50%, but don't try to puff Gogeta. He's as good as he is, no more than that. By that logic, two or three Janemba's could overthrow Beerus. Just, no.

I imagine this theme like all the Z warriors are like half dead and their would be SSGSS Goku or Vegeta (take your pick) and the final villain to ever be fought would be their and they both have the hole staring contest and power up and then what we all love the part where everyone beats the shit out of each other
definitely think that some of the tribal art on goku would have made it appear godly and at the same time kept the simple look with the thinner body and red aura. im interested to see what will happen in the next dbz movie against frieza. Hopefully they come up with something clever and not just a powered up version of SSG.

you know in the original movie this theme might not have worked as well due to the way the transformation happened. In dragonballz super however. the transformation has been cracked up to 11 along with the potential power base of the Super Saiyan God itself
Now that I think about it, Goku hasn't been heartbroken in a while.
