My mother was an avid Issac Hayes fan😊...I listened to ALL of his albums growing up. HOT BUTTER & SOUL was one of my favorites. Issac Hayes was masterful Artist!! I just learned on the HBO max Documentary "Stax Records Soulville's "that he was a classically train pianist. Know wonder he is was phenomenal.
He took this song originally written by Burt Backarach and sung by Dionne Warwick and made it his very own. The collaboration of electric guitar and the Organ was genius..I heard this song for the 1st time when I was 9.. I'm 65 and the melody and the harmony still resonates within me🎵🎶☺️
