An absolutely lustrous knife; Katz Gentleman's Knife in Black Mother of Pearl (MOP)

- Salutations, Ladies and Gentlemen! Today, I'll be (briefly) discussing a gorgeous knife in a most luxurious material. This piece is part of the Gentleman's series by Katz. I have discussed this design before, albeit a model in Cocobolo wood. Today, however, I'll be showcasing a far prettier model in Black Mother of Pearl. This is a rather new material to me, but one I am incredibly happy to have in my collection. The handle has a delightful sheen to it that plays with the light in a beautiful way. In fact, my camera was having trouble focusing for most of the video, to which I apologize!
This knife features an ATS-34 stainless steel (polished) drop-point blade. Stainless steel satin bolsters and liners. A steel lockbar and a pearl collar on the bolster. Like all Katz Knives, this piece is made in Japan. Overall, it is an exquisite example of cutlery and a true showpiece that would make for a perfect Gentleman's or Gentlewoman's knife!
