That's a nice little lineup! Make your next a wooden one if you can... and then a Stag again. TIW denotes Titusville Iron Works btw, not Tidioute. The first two digits of the 6-digit code are the Pattern (so 14 for your #14, 15 for your #15, etc); the third digit is the main blade type (1 for your Clip, 3 for your Sheepfoot, etc, the full list is on GEC's website), the fourth digit states how many blades the knife has, and the final two digits are the year of manufacture/issue. You can cure the 'pin show' on your #83 by sanding the bolster with fine emery paper, then polishing. Take it slowly, and it will vanish as if by magic. Those #39s were really well made - I got a couple of the two-blade ('Horse Rancher') versions - they certainly put Cases's Mini Trapper to shame!
I just took a 153113 out of my pocket. It is the same knife with an easy open notch, and a scout shield. Brown bone. I collected my knives a while ago! With the number of knives I owned, this one is in my pocket! 😊
