In my opinion, in the last scene when Stanley appears, it's when Jim is about to press the automatic enhancer button, when he says number nine he refers to 07.29.95 "tape nine" and when Stanley turns to the camera that's when the enhancer is activated
Fun Fact: I always believed that this scene was meant to hint that Jim turning on the enhancer is what created Stanley and thats why he appears at the end. (I thought the Number 9 voice was just to make the scene creepy and didn't think much of it)
This was most likely sampled from "Revolution 9" by The Beatles and pitched down, when played backwards it says: "turn me on dead man" (im not kidding) which many people believed were hints that Paul (bassist in the band) is dead, this could be a theory that Stanley used to be alive, and got turned into an AI by Nintendo (prolly not true but just a theory)
Well, since it was apparently part of an abandoned plot point, she just thought it was best to remove it to get rid of any confusion. (Also, it's a she)
@@randomuser8806 I kinda wonder now what that abandond plot point would've been, I kinda thought the reason why she got rid of it was because this shows the old design of Stanley but that's just me
@@his-sa-yots2692 I have heard of that scrapped version of the plot, but if that's the case I'm wondering why Greenio didn't get rid of 'The End' screen in one of the tapes which shows the Mario custume with a crying child.
Tremendous reference to "revolution 9" by The Beatles

no it's just some reference to an song.
The number nine sample WAS from The Beatles' "Revolution 9", BUT it could work as a plot point!
if you didn’t know, the music playing is the ending theme of sm64 but reversed

Me when I number nine:
Why would he remove it? Isn't this the moment Stanley came to life? He could have easily said The Numer 9 Voice is saying something else.
