I know you just posted a video explaining that you don’t want to do TH-cam on a regular basis (if ever). This video came up right after you posted that. Videos like this where there is a ‘out of the ordinary’ issue, and repair is a hidden gem.

Your not just dropping important knowledge for up a coming tradesman ,but your helping the boys who might not have a father at home or a good example in their lives. I’m glad I got let go from a company for not taking stuff seriously bc I wouldn’t have woken up. But damn I wish I came across videos like this 2 years ago.

Come in low to swing high!! Not every lead is that lead but you have to be able to recognize it as it comes in

Brassman, these videos are golden, thanks for helping people understand how it all works 👍
You're growing and getting more and more responsibility quickly, so if you yourself accept suggestions, it'd be to find some ways to invest in your health because your whole business and family depends on it and it can get very stressful running companies.
Something like a thai massage twice a month can be a life changer, hell, even using a foam roller on our back for ten seconds a day does wonders. A green smoothie a few times a week also helps a lot. Do what you prefer, but please do consider your health since it's what us white trash mostly ignore because of our upbringing, yet we still pay dearly for it.

Grow that service side. The economy is on the edge of a cliff. This next year is going to be scary.. New construction is always the first thing to go. A month from now you might have all your guys doing service. People will always need to keep existing plumbing working. Unless all those big buildings go vacant. It would seem inpossible if it didn't just happen a few years back. It's good to diversify and prrepare for every situation before it happens.

@@lascellesstoddart3907He actually explained in other videos that he doesn’t have a ton of overhead. He buys his trucks outright and is smart with his money. His payroll is likely high but his overhead overall is pretty minimal considering the amount of people work for him.

@@bradleyozbun1012 I would’ve been thrilled to do it even back then. To me that repeat business is more valuable than any one call. I’d say, especially for a one-man show deals like that are critically important. I say 30 hours of labor, but a good tin of it was a helper, and a good five of it was me in the office. Another five of it was me going to a meeting with one of my journeyman to talk to these guys about it. If I was a one-man show, it probably would’ve taken about 15 hours time 1100 bucks for 15 hours when you’re a one-man show isn’t a knee capper. Especially if that one job could lead to a half $1 million in sustainable work. Jobs like this one that can get you out of being a one-man show.
