I feel bad for her ex-husband, she put him in tons of debt, then instead of helping work it off she divorced him and remarried.... I don't see how everyone is saying how brave and amazing she is.... :/

I think what is important is just to live with what you can afford. We choose to live smaller with our family so that we don't have to rely on the government and still have savings. Our freedom of dependability is important to us.

I did not chose bankruptcy because a family member put up collateral with a bank to lower my interest rate. So I have been paying $200 a month for around 10 years to pay it off I am almost done with that credit card pay off. My family member will receive their “cd” back
@@annaphillips9573 cool, congrats on almost being debt free. then you can start building for retirement =). sadly since you may be getting a late start you will have to invest a higher percentage of your income to have a healthy retirement. i assume you know about compound interest calculators? if not, you can use one of them to figure out how much you need to invest for retirement.

Many women are just children in adults bodies. And I say that as a female. It's what I've witnessed out there. She claims she didn't want to go back to work in order to be home with her kids, and be a mom. Riiiiiiiight. Starbucks, hair salons, tanning, nails, shopping.......not much time left for the actual kids, let alone all the domestic chores and cooking that come with being a stay at home mom.
Right. She says she does not want to go to work so she can be a mom to her children. So, women who work can't be moms to their children?? I work within the home, but if I had to work outside the home, I would still be a mom to my kids and put them first. She really wants to stay home so she has more time to shop--not have more time with her kids.

I would presume you don't say no to the man who's your meal ticket. And maybe a bit of physical lovin gives a bit of a different rush for a half hour, a bit like the shopping rush. Besides, some women get a kick out of having a bit of special attention whilst pregnant and with a new baby to show off. I'm not saying this woman is any of these things specifically, but yeah, I can see how it could happen.

Same idea when people eat to be obese .. it is because of low self esteem and usually that comes from deeper issues in the childhood. I know that because a. I experienced that b. I am a medical health professional which deal with people rehab facility so yea .. you will be surprised at how variable human beings behave to pain, sadness, lack of self worth, self love and respect. I saw this woman again in paternity court. Her husband doubted about his paternity because of this woman's alcoholism and because her husband had vasectomy 20 years ago. But her pregnancy turned her alcoholism away and turned out that she's a loyal woman and vasectomy wasn't a successful one. She remained tactful and mature during the court hearing.
She also admitted to cheating on her then husband with Darren which gave more credibility to Darren's doubts and he admitted that her spending habits and alcoholism continued during their own marriage 😅😅
The best medicine for someone like this is to....get a JOB...they need to know how much it takes to make money.
Hell yes. I've worked since I was a teenager I'm careful with my spending and I don't flush my hard earned money down a toilet. I love to shop garage sales and Assistance League type thrift stores. I always think about how many hours or days of working my job it would take to earn the money to buy something and I usually end up not buying it.

My mom is about this bad, but she would work 3 jobs to make money to afford the lifestyle. But she outspent what she could even make there, lost the house and filed bankruptcy. 7 years later, it's starting to happen again.
She still doesn't seem to take responsibility. How is the ex husband that worked for all that money? Is he stuck with the bills? How much child support is he forced to send her? Is he still holding down a job while we listen to her woes about her happiness? What about his happiness? How damaged are the kids? Are the kids learning about responsibility?
The kids are damaged beyond repair. Whatever child support this woman gets she blows on herself...guaranteed. I notice she still has money to bleach her hair. She will soon have a ninth "surprise" pregnancy in order to nail down the coffin on the 2nd husband. Has this woman ever worked a day in her life? Does she realize how hard it is to make a buck and pays taxes on the money you earn? I am shocked that both of these husband allowed this woman and her "surprise" pregnancies to trap them. We never looked at our biological ties or lack thereof as a hindrance to our relationship. however, i will agree with you on that adversities help make sibling relationships grow stronger.
As for your relationship with your ex-wife and kids it seems there has been some emotional/mental abuse. I don't know much of your personal situation but I can tell you this. Your son's perception of you as a father, and as a man will inevitability influence them when they themselves begin to establish their character as men in life. I hv learned that the strong characteristical traits that define a man in life is not what they endured but rather how they endured. (think of it as forging metal in the furnace)...idk I just thought there's a lot of analogies that can be associated with living life n forging metal...lol and also maybe cuz I've been checking out a lot of forging vidz on youtube...lol
Anyways my friend let your adversities between you and your ex-wife become apportunities to help you show your boys what a man looks like in the face of adversities. Don't take this the wrong way Sir, I am simply expressig my impression of what I read. If disrespect is what your sons see you tolerate then that's what they'll tolerate from not only each other but from other relationships.

I am happily married for almost 9yrs come October. I hv a 4yr son n one on the way. My wife is the love of my life and my boys are the joy of my life.
Not all of those yrs were "happily". In fact there were some pretty hostile moments...but anything worth hvng is worth fighting for. I will depart with this "love conquers all".
All I'm saying is that I would much rather have divorced parents like I do now that having to hear them scream at each other through the walls. I have many friends whose parents are only still married because of their children or because divorce is too expensive and its terrible to see two people who don't love each other have to fake it in front of you when you still know they are unhappy. Parents underestimate how much their kids know.

The ex-husband is likely NOT brokenhearted; and most likely opted out of being exposed on the show for a second time. Plus the original story actually presented his side of things. He has moved on with his life. Unless you know the terms of divorce then you don't know the ex was left holding the bag of debt. Most likely not since her own six credit cards were maxed out; which is debt that follows her, not him.

She appeared to *maybe* be on something in her interview. Her eyes wouldn't focus and her face was even twitching at one time. Opiates & pain pills can make people twitch and appear this way, although it could also be anxiety/stress. She is definitely addicted to having children & There will probably be more kids along the way. Honestly, she didn't fool me with the "everything's perfect" and the "I'm so happy now" card. Nor was that cute baby boy an "accident", she knew exactly how to make another baby. She will never truly be happy until she connects with a higher power and becomes honest with herself. PTSD often goes hand in hand with compulsions & addiction. Cognitive therapy would be really good for her. Hopefully she has a therapist to work with. It's important to not bash anyone for their bad choices and wrong doings, bc we have plenty of our own & maybe not to this degree, but we are all just human. She needs to be helped for not only herself, but for those children to have a mother.

Why have so many children when not happy. It's all about her happiness. Me - me - me. I feel sorry for her first husband and children. How is he coping - that's what I'd like to know?
I would feel more sorry for her ex-husband if she had spent money on undetectable things, but on beauty treatments, clothes, furniture, and large commissioned artwork? He was complicit. At least we know that by divorcing they made the best choice for themselves and for their children. And it's possible that the ex-husband has a wonderful life and simply wasn't interested in doing the show.

It always takes two to make a marriage work. You have no idea what the ex husband was like behind closed doors, I'm sure he wasn't perfect either. She was very young when they married so it not working just fits the statistics for divorce in that age group. As for the children, I'm betting they were attempts to heal the rift between them.

She was on the tv show paternity court (you can find it on YT). On that show, her new husband is questioning if baby is his as he had a vasectomy many years ago. In the show she talks about having times she was so drunk she blacked out, however, she doesn't believe she was ever unfaithful when passed out drunk. She also talks about how she put her ex husband in a lot more debt than was revealed on Oprah show. She sounds like a real winner. Her poor kids.
I always get a kick out of women who claim to be "stay at home" mom's when their kids are all in school already lol She needed a job to take her mind off of her dissatisfaction and boredom.

Child care is so expensive that a mother without any credentials or experience might still just break even paying for after-school care, which usually has a sliding scale based on income. The more you make the more you pay. Being there when they get off the bus, cooking homemade meals, being able to attend school functions is far more valuable than the few bucks a day take home pay she could have after taxes, child care, and putting gas in her car. I see from your station you are also a compulsive shopper, so I guess you probably aren't very versed in personal finances either.

For many families it is also more expensive to pay for daycare/baby sitters than to stay at home, plus you want to actually take care of your kids.
I will stay home when my kids are all in school. I figure I'll actually have time to get caught up on stuff and pursue my hobbies. In my case, this is fiscally responsible. If it wasn't, I wouldn't do it. I think your comment detracts from the real issue. It isn't a problem to stay home- you just need that to be a responsible choice for your family.

why do couples so frequently have more babies before divorcing? its hard for me to believe that anyone has such incredible lack of foresight. i know someone else who married because of pregnancy, but rrather than make sure to avoid another pregnancy at all costs, they broke up 7 months after having a 2nd child because they didnt take precautions -.- can anyone elucidate this
Not saying this is always true, but couples usually think sex will resolve everything. That a good sex life means a good marriage. But that's not always true and some problems sex can't fix
I think on some level they feel like kids will save the marriage. They know that something is wrong, something is lacking, and they're hoping that kids will fill the void. Theoretically, each child would be one more reason to stay together. But more often than not, the stress of adding another child to an already strained marriage is the wedge that finally drives them apart.

if they remarried and had more children, those would be your half siblings
half siblings would never be more close to you then their own full siblings

I went to her with my honest heart that we would never make it and for that reason I want my son to have another sibling before it's to late
we got pregnant within that month and my son had his baby brother by the time he was 11 months
my wife and I have gone through so much nastyness for the past 6 years, each year, each month
but the support my kids have for each other and the love their share is just price less
they are each others back bone and make each other so soo SOOO much happy

So she swaps one guy for another saying “he makes me happy”….she will probably be doing the same things again blaming them on everything but her own attitude.
